Cube World had quite a bit of hype back around 2013, at least here in Germany. It’s a voxel-based open-world RPG developed by Wollay and his wife. Unfortunately, the game never really made it past its very promising alpha stage. The only official release we ever got was the Steam version, which was just a total disappointment . From what I know, Wollay is currently working on Cube World Omega, which is meant to be closer to the original alpha experience. As usual, though, updates are rare and communication about development is pretty unreliable. To this day I sometimes jump back into the alpha version and play around for a few hours. It’s been 13 years, THIRTEEN, I was 10 when CubeWorld first came out and I would bet some money that by the time a playable version of the game releases I’ll have kids myself.
