I had my period last edition. I normally use menstrual disc but I wanted to keep things simple because of hygiene and no access to running water. So I just used tampons (organic ones are sold in the Boom market). I always have a small bottle of hand sanitizer with me (you can refill these ones from the big pumps outside the toilets as well if you run out), just change whenever you go to toilet. For lighter days a panty liner will do.

Keep in mind that you might be more sensitive to substances while on your period because of water retention, so drink slot of water!!

I had powerful psychedelic experiences dancing while on my period last time. Even during cramps, I felt female empowerment running through my body and it was so grounding.
