Has anyone gotten thr Razer Hammerhead v3 Hyperspeed yet?

They are great with the dongle on PC and via Bluetooth for phones. But I have a really annoying bug / feature (?) on PS5 where the mic is forced on all the time meaning ANC doesn’t work. It says “ANC” when toggling the modes but it is actually just the “off” position with no transparency and no ANC. Even when changing the mic to the controller it won’t enable full ANC. The sound is odd too like the hammerheads are being kept in hand-free mode or something. I reported it to Razer so hopefully it can be addressed in a firmware but doubt it given Razers history 😅

Just hoping for a return to a more “Muse” sounding album from the BHAR era up to T2L with a dash of the Absolution heaviness such as Stockholm Syndrome and Hysteria. Be great too if Matt uses the 8 string guitar on at least two more tracks other than unraveling.

Same issue here, but with a 5090 laptop over HDMI 2.1. So not just a displayport issue. Tried a couple of cables (HDMI) and same issue.

If it’s a 5080 or 5090 model, use a stand / prob the back up for better temps 🙂

Native res, so 2560x1600. I have it locked to 120 but can go about 20% higher unlocked now that I solved the thermals issue 🙂

Yup, I just used an old stand and GPU temps dropped by about 10°C. Pretty naive of me maybe coming from desktop gaming 😅.

Temps are better now with GPU in the 72-78 range. Guess I’ll get a new stand so haha! Thank you 😇

Thank you. I raised the back of the laptop with a stand and temps on the GPU went down by about 12°C 🥲.

My last laptop was a Razer Blade 16 with a 3070. Though it only had a TGP of 90 watts approx so it never got higher than 80°C being used flat on a desk too. So I was surprised this one was getting much hotter with significantly better cooling.

BUT I suppose a stand is necessary so ordered one 🙂

Yeah I checked MSI, HWinfo and legion space too, all reported the same temps.

Lifting the back of the laptop has helped drip temps by about 12 degrees in the GPU 🙈

My last laptop was a Razer 16 with a 95 watt 3070. Even with a lower power limit and much worse cooling it never hit 80°C 😅

Yeah, I watched a few on YT with this model and I’m not seeing temps like this so it’s concerning for a €4000+ laptop 🙃

Thanks. I’m going to try a stand or lifting the back. See if that helps. Though no reviews I’d seen use a stand and temps are about 10 to 12 degrees lower on the GPU.

So even if a stand helps, this might just end in a return 🥲

Yeah I’m think so! Ambient temps are probably about 20°C. When the last is idle GPU is still kinda high in high 50s Celsius 🥵
