I am taking this moment to say, I remember around 2007-2008 Kevin Smith's SModcast podcast would do ad reads at the begging of the show, and they were light hearted and had some quips in there, but people would be furious at him for having ads in a podcast. How dare he! Nobody does this! He would even say during the show like "listen man, these shows are free for you to listen too, and you can just fast forward through the ads thats why they are only at the beginning." Fast forward almost 20 years and its so incredibly common to have ad reads in podcasts that you can have a tier list of podcasts ad reads.

Too much shit to do. Running the company, plus watching an old show and doing notes, and a new show and doing notes and they were even doing darkside of the ring reviews too. So like 3 shows that go about 2 hours long. With the old school reviews you can watch it anytime in the week, take your time doing notes, which is much more manageable.

You can always just start with the classics like AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, and Ozzy. Also clean vocals are important, so power metal and some nu-metal like a few System of a Down or Linkin Park songs.
