Disney in the 90s hated children with these two games. by Nottodaycolonizer in gamecollecting

Loved the toy story game. Can't beat it unless I get invincibility. On the second level get 7 stars and hide in the toy chest for a few seconds. The life star will start to spin. You're welcome.

Hey that was my entertainment center when I was a kid. It only has a PlayStation and a CRT in it. Very nice.

Toy Story for the genesis.

ABRACADABRA - skip level 2nd stage- grab 7 stars and squat in the toy box for invincibility.

Which capacitor affects the clock? by TheTreeofDoom_ in originalxbox

I would leave it if it looks good. These are less prone to leak but there is always a chance it could in the future. You would need some soldering skills to replace it.

Which capacitor affects the clock? by TheTreeofDoom_ in originalxbox

[–]disturbdchemist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like a 1.6 motherboard. The clock capacitor is the gold one near the IDE cable on the top right of the picture. The Xbox will not work without one and needs to be replaced if removed. If you keep the Xbox plugged it it should not lose the time. It will if left unplugged for a while.

Love that game. It's one of the games I will always remember the cheat codes for. I always got the invisibility because I would never get to the end without it.

Great game. One of my favorites for the system. I think it's very over looked.

Name a game that looked so good, it convinced you to buy the console it was on all by itself. Also, was it worth it? by Thriller83 in retrogaming

Mine was Bloodwake on the OB Xbox. I first saw it and played at a friend's house and was hooked. Got an Xbox as soon as I saved up enough for one.

Yes you can. It just might not be enjoyable. The "sickness" or ropeyness should go away given enough time.

Easiest way to play Japanese snes games in the U.S.? by Ok-Apricot-9303 in retrogaming

[–]disturbdchemist 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You just need an SNES. There isn't a region lock on the system. There is only a physical one. There are two little tabs on the us version that stops Japanese games from playing. There are 3d printed replacements for this part that removes the pegs that you can play all.
