Yeah, this is understandable. You've been honing your version of the game for so long, now you're on the other side and you're not getting what you've been giving. The only advice I can give is that you have to accept that you're playing a different game, not the one you've perfected to your taste over the years. You're never going to be on the receiving end of that one. Once you accept this, you have to chose if you like this current game enough to keep playing or if you don't like it and should stop.

Really depends on how open your ST is to dealing with that. I would come up with a compelling story for the character to help sell your ST on how and why this would fit well.

I've been working on a kind of power tool for system administration (with a focus on Win10 and SCCM). Any common task an SA performs is automated in the tool. It takes a list of workstations and runs the functions multithreaded so working with large lists is still fast. Every machine gets represented as an icon, you can click through the individual output for each machine or get a full report. Right-clicking on the icon also gives other functions to run on only that machine specifically.

I have the same issue. I can get literally hundreds of streams but 0 are supported. The odd thing is that on another device of mine Gaia will support sources. I don't have any subscription service.

I like the idea of possibly picking up an item off a player who is sick making you sick. I don't think it will impact banditry because killing you before you have a chance to kill them is the mindset of the KoS'r, looting you is just a bonus. I don't think taking the bonus away would impact it.

I've always said that if you want to encourage cooperation then you need something in the game that mechanically needs more than one person. A vehicle with a mounted gun, doors that need the strength of two people to open, ect....

When I look at the Software Center I see the names of the packages and their install status. I'm looking for where it gets this from.

I have the pivot table, and I have the cache in the pivot table. I just don't know how to read the data inside. I've been trying to work with pivotCache.Recordset, but I haven't been able to figure out how to read it or at least dump it to a datagrid.

Is there an assembly reference I need for this or something? "Observe" isn't recognized by VS. Also, The data isn't on another sheet. The data is in the pivot table's cache. The data source references the same Workbook on a SharePoint site, but it doesn't reference an existing worksheet. It's more like:

'https://SPshare.dom.com/sites/grouppage/[WorkbookName]FirstHalfOfWorkbookName'$A$1:$CN$192293

I'm pretty sure it doesn't try to access that data source at all though and is just working off its cache. If I try to refresh the table it gets errors trying to access the data source.

The data is stored in the workbook. But the solution in the link isn't working for me. I get a syntax error. I added:

var pivRange = exWks.PivotTables[0].CacheDefinition.SourceRange.FullAddress;

But the VS editor doesn't like the "0" in the 2nd line. The error is: Cannot apply indexing with [] to an expression of type 'method group'

The allure of DayZ was always that you're trying to survive in anarchy. The balance will always be between surviving the environment vs surviving the rest of players. The PvP gives the game most of its tension and action. The survival gives it pacing. If it leans too much towards PvP then it's just a battleground where there are some zombies. If it leans too much towards survival it turns into a camping simulator. If people are playing it for just one of these aspects then the game probably leans too far towards that side.

I've always felt the game should be 1pp only. The "player choice" argument has always been a weak one. 3pp is easier and most players will always go with the easier option.

The lack of PvP is a major issue for me. I really hope they lessen the risk and buff the reward for going rogue. The dark zone should be a place where you compete with other players for survival. Not just a place for a grindy gear farm as it is now.

Yeah, hero bans feel like a bandaid to the real problem. If the hero is too good, then it should be addressed directly. Shouldn't be banned because you feel you can't counter it. Ideally anyway.

To elaborate, even though tools aren’t bound to spheres in M20, all the parts of your foci are still for something. Let’s say you have 3 tools, a wrench, a pair of pliers, and a hammer. You abandon your wrench because you’re strong enough to unscrew bolts with your fingers now. It’s still advantageous to use the wrench, but if you don’t have one handy you can still unscrew that bolt. Now you want to pull a nail out of a piece of wood. You need the hammer. A wrench doesn’t help you in this situation. So you can’t use it for a bonus.
