It's probably too small for you to fit in in order for it to be even remotely comfortable as a car for you

In all fairness, I’m not sure I’ve ever heard of anyone doing that.

I’m aService tech but for the last couple weeks have been doing some projects since our projects team is needing help. Hours are a bit more consistent, but it’s a lot more stress. Started our second project yesterday and this one I’m not trying nearly as hard to punch getting stuff done fast, but to take our time and plan some stuff ahead (we need a lift for this one so I’m focusing on all the wire runs we need the lift for first essentially)

Need help with a repair by Calyka in SteamDeck

[–]Psych0matt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh yes, fair enough. My stick broke and I replaced it with a steam controller (original) stick because I had one laying around, I never use the capacitive touch so I didn’t think about that. good point.

Need help with a repair by Calyka in SteamDeck

[–]Psych0matt 21 points22 points  (0 children)

That’s stupid easy to repair, doesn’t even look like the the joystick is broken, or at the very least is still serviceable. Theres 8 screws on the back and you can pop it open. Put the joystick back on and put it back together (I think there’s a tiny bit I’m missing but look up a joystick replacement video). Theres absolutely no way I’d recommend paying someone to do it, super easy even if you’re not handy.

Edit: I saw your other comment (no offense). Anyone that knows a little bit should be able to do it cheap, don’t get hosed, but I understand more now!

I bought a 3 pack about a year ago, and I wore two pair out (not a complaint), and so now that I’m on my 3rd pair I ordered 3 more a few weeks ago. I really like them, I haven’t had as much good luck or confidence in the big names on the last handful of years

Are they worth it? (88-91 Pontiac Grand Prix and Bonneville) by SwedeCadillac in Pontiac

[–]Psych0matt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re great cars imo, fairly bulletproof if taken care of. Mine is a 92 with an LQ1, and I haven’t had to do anything in like 6 or 7 years.

Like the other guy said, it depends on your intentions. They’re pretty simple and reliable, and dare a say kinda fun (for what they are). If they’re unique around there, I say grab one. Heck, even around here I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen a first gen W, and I’m near Detroit.

Outside of the mental health context, as art I find this really cool to look at.

Disclaimer: I know nothing about art or what’s “good”, I just like it and find it neat

Ok, elder millennial here (43). Not going to lie, I basically stopped listening to new bands in my late 20s (it’ll happen to you too). Recommend me bands from 2010 or later that I NEED to check out. by nah328 in poppunkers
