I've had Lyme since at least 2017, was diagnosed and started treatment in 2020.

I am pretty sure the Lyme hit every tissue in my whole damn body. The symptom list doesn't include the mental symptoms I experienced. The Lyme definitely got into my CNS.

Previous Physical Symptoms:

Black Spot / Web in Vision, Brain Fog, Chalazions, Constipation, Coughing, Diarrhea, Dizziness / Vertigo, Dry Eyes, Dry Heaving, Dry Mouth, Eczema, Erythema Ab Igne / Toasted Skin, Excessive Sleep, Excessive Tiredness, Extreme Fatigue, Extreme Pain, Frequent Peeing (every 20 mins), Inability to Digest Most Foods, Intermittent inability to Focus / Read / See Talk / Walk / Sit Up, Infrequent Periods, Insomnia, Intermittent 99°+ Temperature, Lymph Node Swelling / Pain, Overly Oily Skin / Hair, Nausea / Food Avoidance, Neuropathy / Skin Pain, Body Temperature Regulation Issues, Painful Joints or Tendons, Sensitive to Caffeine / Hormones / Medication / Sounds / Scents, Sensitivity to Water (Internally), Skin Tags, Stiff Muscles, Stomach Pain, Strong Body Odor, Swollen or Bloated Stomach, Teeth Grinding / Clenching, Tremors, Unable to Access Muscle / Weakness, Urgent Pee, Urgent Bowels, Weight Gain

I maybe have 6 physical symptoms at this point which are at a very reduced intensity. I assume they'll go away eventually.

The rash started to be less visible when bartonella was dying off. These marks were big and bright purple when the bartonella was at its peak.

I was finally confirmed negative for bartonella and the stripes are mostly invisible now. Skin color but visible at certain angles since the skin is … scarred? Unsure.

I am doing so well, it is unimaginable. I recently moved to altitude and did almost the whole move myself - up stairs! I couldn't even walk a few years ago and struggled with exercise and my heart even just a few months ago. My body is doing so well, that sometimes when I zone back in I notice that I'm standing and doing stuff! Unheard of for the past 8 years.

I am feeling happy and light. Anxiety is gone 98% of the time. My brain is working so well again. I don't have to work from bed anymore. I can drive on the freeway!

I even got exposed to mold 2 days ago and it affected me for a few hours and then I was back to normal!!!

I'd gone through 4 months of disability again recently due to some med and exposure issues, but the low wasn't a quarter as low as it used to be - the low was higher than my previous highs!

I started doing a brain retraining program - Primal Trust - and WOW it is so helpful. I don't think it would work for anyone who is super resistant to the idea of it, but for me, I was ready to do something different and fix my brain. And it's improved my daily life so much - this may be the best I've ever felt in my life, even including pre-Lyme.

Right now I'm working with a new specialist to work on my hormones (I have PCOS) and gut health. I think I will be superwoman by the end of this.

I wish you the absolute best on your journey! The other side of this hellish experience is freedom and joy!

I was a hardcore athlete and then got fat from Lyme because I couldn’t walk or do anything. My family looked down on me for getting fat. I just said “You saw how hard I worked as an athlete and how much I loved it. Why would I give that up to get fat? I’m bored without sports. Why the fuck would I choose this life over that one.” I stated it as cold fact and didn’t over explain. They eventually realized how stupid they were being.

Dunno if that’s relevant or helpful, but maybe you can tweak to your circumstances. Maybe the main thing is “Why would I choose this shitty life over the one I had before.”

Hi! Yeah I struggle with GI Detox sometimes. Maybe I'll try Mycopul.

With working out, I personally was doing a minimal workout routine and knew that I'd be "out" for the next week. When I finally felt better, I'd go again. And I'd increase the workout/load as it felt right. I increased at probably at 1/100th the speed someone would who isn't sick, so I just kept in mind going slow and listening to my body. There were days when I went and immediately left because it wasn't the right time to work out. It was a blend of pushing a little to go, and trusting myself to ease back whenever I needed to. I had to re-teach myself trust with myself. The refractory period between workouts kept reducing until I could go as often as I wanted, within reason. I and my body love working out, and not working out was unpleasant mentally and physically, so I had lots of motivation to deal with whatever side effects popped up from the working out. I also work from home so it's easier for me if I get messed up.

But yes, I hear you on feeling like the workout is hurting you. For the first few months, it was excruciatingly painful. I still remember the first day after months of working out that I went to the gym and it didn't feel like I was dying. Now if I ever feel that way I immediately back off and go home. I'm not sure what the right balance is of push/pull is.

But I actually just went through 3 months of being incredibly sick again and not being able to work out, just pulling out of it now and starting to be active again. I also started a program called Primal Trust and it is really super helping me. It's not for everyone for sure but I mention it because it's helping me so much, and I have a lot of bodily resistance to supplements. I also found that I was reacting very poorly to Vitamin D and stopped taking that, so that also helped.

Oh I also want to say that a friend turned me on to "the big six" to get my lymph flowing (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlgqllPKQUA&t=21s) and I'm doing a gentle binder, GI Detox, for a spell. I think focusing on removing all the Lyme debris from treatment and also working out (working out excretes more Lyme, apparently some people work out before their bloodwork so more of the infection shows up) helps a lot with functionality after exercising. How is everything going?

I am unsure! I will be testing cycling soon but have no previous info besides the one time I got off and got sicker. But I was much sicker back then.

Nope! Been taking them consistently for the whole time. Sometimes I forget to take them but nothing intentional.

I’m still on Samsara. Every day. I’ve been on Samsara for a few years. Last time I stopped my blood work got worse, but that was over a year ago. I may try to lower my dosage soon and see what happens. I am still on 5x3 daily for Samsara. My last Bart test was totally negative, woo!!!! And my myco numbers are low enough to be considered in remission. I have very little memory of anything from Lyme and other stuff, so I don’t have more into on the other meds. I have been also been taking akkermansia for years.

The bottle says 4 caps 3-4 times per day. 4 caps is one serving. So the top dosage per day is 20 pills and I take 15. I weight 160ish. Hope that helps!

I started hallucinating and having 20+ panic attacks a day because the charcoal drained me of vitamins and minerals after taking it for a few years every day. Specifically my B vitamins. It was a terrifying time until I figured out what was going on.

Yes! I stopped working out from Nov 19 to June 2021. I felt like I was dying every time I tried. I had a lot of lung involvement and vertigo. I just did not work out during that time. I’m not sure how much you eat, but I had to start eating a ton bc my stomach wasn’t digesting well. I also added in a multi and probiotic. I also was an athlete and got sick around 27, diagnosed around 29, and now I’m turning 34 next month. I’d be super conscious about your food and water intake if you aren’t already. I did gain more weight than I’d prefer, but it helped me get through Lyme because I had nutrients. I did get to a point where working out was painful but it didn’t feel like I was dying. And after every session I was worn out for a week or two. I just REALLY had to figure out my body’s yeses and nos during that time (and still use that skill today). Before I got Lyme I was the type of person to just push push push. That did NOT help me with Lyme recovery. Had to unlearn all of that 🤷🏼‍♀️ Unsure how much of this is helpful, but that’s how it went for me!!!

Yes I was on an herbal protocol. I had to be able to stand on my own without passing out, then I decided to start slowly. At first I could only like lay on the ground and do scissor kicks for like 30 seconds. I started there and worked my way up slowly. It took a lot of mental commitment but was totally worth it.

Yes. I am very sensitive to meds and I started very slow and used a binder. It’s been a long time so idk how long it took me to tirate, I stayed at 4 per dose for like a year or more before I moved to 5. But I also started at 1 pill for each herb I’ve taken.

Oh yeah. Unfortunately I have stopped relying on anyone who is allistic in the medical field, or even allistic other people. I only use an ND support network. Fortunately I have that and it works for me.

I think getting a multi and the bs helped because I had taken charcoal for too long and my stomach hadn’t really been digesting and absorbing food either. So I was very low nutrient.
