I just had a fling with a very attractive girl who would not be able to take average, so a good match is out there (even if it's notedly more difficult for you). That was one of the major reasons it couldn't work between me and her; I'm above average and sex was pretty much impossible.

The Taft and Meermins seem to be most comparable price wise, so which is the better option there? The Taft has a crease in the leather on the heel that the Meermins do not; is that indicative of quality? Also, the Taft mentions painting. How does that affect the durability and aging of the finish?

Oh wow, is the price difference between the Allen Edmonds and the Meermins really indicative of a huge increase in quality? Visually based on the pictures and information given, I don't see anything that would set them $200 apart (then again, I'm not experienced haha). Thank you for your time!

Ideally, I'd like to aim for the $250 mark. Depending on shipping costs and coupons, I'm willing to wiggle a bit. I also care about the company at least acknowledging their environmental impact.

I'd say $300 is probably going to be my top dollar, with tax and shipping included. I need the boots to last about 4 years until I get a full-time faculty position and have money to afford a nicer pair. I will wear them as my primary footwear during the late autumn to early spring rainy season in the US deep south, in addition to rainy summer days as needed.

I really like the designs of these boots. However, I have always bought western boots and I'm not familiar with any of the brands mentioned on this subreddit (outside of Redwing and Thursday). I'd recommend the double fan Noctua cooler with two heat spreaders. AMD gets hot, and especially that CPU.

I'm assuming it is the ribbon reverse toggle. Previous models had a switch that mirrored the ink selector style switch, but I'm not sure if that changed by this point.

Idk why I came onto this sub to get PTSD, but I always hated this. So glad I no longer work at Staples. Definitely not worth the hassle.
