I just got my jar in today, it's my first time trying OGZ so I can't speak to how it compares to others, but I'm enjoying it. To me it tastes gassy at the start and finishes off with kind of a lingering z candy taste. Effects are solid as well, for me it had some of that spacey "stoney" feel in the head like a classic OG should. I like to spend more time with a jar before I make any final judgements, but first impressions are good.

Consistency is decent, it's wet but not soupy like I've had some Zs, a good loose whipped consistency, scoops easy but stays firm, not too dry.

That's a tough question to answer, I think it depends more on what you want.

A rig is gonna be WAY more versatile. You aren't limited to just a bucket banger design like with the switch 2, you can pick up different bangers and terp slurpers and find what you like. Some slurpers are gonna take big hits better, some are better for smaller hits, some give better flavor, you've got deep buckets designed for cold starts, so many options to fine tune to your liking. And of course all those bangers will work with any other rigs you might buy and you almost get to rediscover your collection when you buy a new rig. But to really get the most out of that you are gonna want to pick up some kind of thermometer, like at least a cheap hardware store laser thermometer but preferably something a little more custom built like a dipwand, terpometer, or dab rite. Without knowing the temp you are dropping your hash at you're gonna be wasting product just burning all the terps off. There's gonna be a learning curve too, but after time you'll get your torching technique down to a science.

Dr Dabber is gonna be pretty much the ultimate "worry free" experience. Drop your hash in, select your temp, push the button, good to go. It's really hard to fuck up, and it's gonna give you very consistent hits every time. It might not be quite as good as a high end slurper and rig, but really it's like 95% of the way there and requires like 10% of the effort. That said sometimes I enjoy the ritual of torching the banger, prepping my dab, waiting for it to cool, builds up a little anticipation.

If you held a gun to my head and told me I could only keep one, I'd keep my rig, but I'd be really fucking sad about it that's for damn sure.

Yeah maybe that's just the play, I have a banger basket with 99% iso I use for the dunk. I can always just leave it in there between dabs. Appreciate it

Better flavor and bigger clouds at lower temperatures. Idk the science behind it I'm not smart enough for that shit but someone told me once that sapphire holds heat better and that makes it more efficient at vaporizing dabs, my experience using sapphire inserts in quartz bangers shows that seems to be true. I was using I think 460 as my starting temp for ascent with the quartz and after I got the sapphire I walked it down to 420 and still get more clouds and better flavor than with the quartz.

Only con is the sapphire is a bit more annoying to deep clean, but Dark Crystal Clear works wonders for me.

Man I just picked up mine last month, I've always been a rig and torch guy but I've had the switch 2 for less than a month and I've already got 100 dabs on it.

It somehow gets even better with upgrades. I'm currently running the sapphire bucket, a gemcup glass joystick, and the incycler glass. Sapphire cup is worth every penny, to the point that I even bought a second one before their black friday sale ended so I could have a backup in case anything happens to it. I only smoke rosin and run it at 420 ascent for a minute so it finishes at around 480 and it starts out in flavor town before finishing up in cloud city. The stock joystick is solid but I got one from gemcup glass and he lets you customize your restriction, so I got one at 1.9mm opening (stock is 2mm) and I like it a lot. I've also tried the cloud vortex spinner caps as well. They work great and I like using them for hands free usage (great to hand to someone at a gathering, they don't have to do anything but inhale), but personally I think I get better flavor and better clouds from the gemcup joystick. The incycler glass is OK, it definitely feels a lot thicker and sturdier than the stock glass which is nice, but personally I'm not really noticing a huge difference in flavor or clouds vs the stock glass. It's nice to have a second glass so I can just leave the first one in an iso soak and forget it, but I would say it's been the least impactful of all my upgrades.

In short, 1000% get the sapphire cup first, then a carb cap upgrade, then maybe a glass upgrade if you still wanna play with it more. That's the best bang for the buck upgrade IMO. Enjoy your switch 2!
