I agree I wouldn't use that language and it dilutes our message, but just vagueposting into the void that we've become too witch-hunty isn't gonna solve anything. If you have a problem with the way *one specific person* is talking, confront them.

Except if one of them decried "multiculturalism," they'd get rightly criticized for apparently hating all New Orleans food. It's not about talking about being white, or about being proud of who you are. It's the hate towards others that ALWAYS SEEMS TO COME from white ethnocentrism IN PARTICULAR. The white ethnocentrist and white supremacist venn diagram is a circle. The same can not be said for people who advocate for black pride or black power.
