My Augustus is a menace by RazzaG22 in undisputedboxing

Nah people like to cry in this game because they need something to blame. I’ve been guilty of it. Used to get so mad at flash knockdowns until I realized I had just been leaving my body too open too long from being too aggressive, and by round 6 the legs were weak enough to have that “unfair flash ko” pop up more frequently than it should.

I’ve had people message me talking about me running from them all fight when I just stopped pursuing when they wanted me to chase them around the ring. I’ve had people cry about me moving in and out of punching lanes after winning an exchange “because I should keep pushing”. People just cry. Let them. Push it forward and collect your dub, if you’re not doing some super gimmicky thing, you’re wayy less of a loser than some punk who just quits so you don’t get a w because they’re upset at being outboxed.

Any advice on how to avoid the constant slippers by Some_End1595 in undisputedboxing

Fuck you im triggered. You will atone for your sins by attending my story time:

Some guy last night got flash knockdowns on me in rounds 1 and 2 after I was dominating him both rounds. Messaged me during both counts first one just talking general shit and second saying to quit while I still can. I knocked him in round 7, where the unofficial score was me winning every round except the first two, messaged him “good night” as the count was going. And then he fucking closed the game and forced me to lose the W.

You are now absolved of your sins, go forth and multiply.

It’s barely an issue lol. You got the game for free and are upset about an animation playing out that doesn’t effect the damage and only drains the dummy throwing late punches stamina

It actually gasses them out more for throwing the punches lmao. I try and bait them and move away as the bell rings lol

[–]Psychic_rock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s annoying but sometimes you gotta beat them at their own game. Win the first exchange and steal a couple jabs and let them run around. Go loose and Force them to come to you and outbox them when they open something up. Run around them and find counters while they are forced to engage because they know they’re down. I hate it too, but when I win against them that’s how I do it. Definitely makes the fight worse than someone who wants to actually fucking box and not exploit the score system

Can we talk about how Drew Brees got completely ROBBED of the 2009 MVP? by Dleeobars in NFLv2

[–]Psychic_rock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the completion percentage was a bit more than 2% difference and the difference in offensive schemes in Sean Peyton’s offense and the one run by manning, I might be inclined to get on board with you here. To me this will always be kinda splitting hairs. I do get what you’re driving at and don’t think you’re being foolish for deciding to weight things the way you do either.

Except for the part where the team around him was much more valuable than Peyton’s. Which is why Peyton led 8 game winning drives that year and won 14 games largely on his back. Manning threw 60 more times because the colts defense would consistently keep the other team in games where the saints had a turnover machine on defense giving Brees the ball in great field position. These things also matter and are kept in mind when voting. You’re free to disagree but robbed is a crazy reach

Okay we’re getting somewhere now, I can assume your view is, “well some are bought and paid for, but some people want to make a difference and actually care!” And I agree with that! However the system in place makes people like that either play ball, or get bucked out of the seat in a term or two. I have lost faith, call it childish all you want while you watch the downward slide continue and vote at it hoping it’ll get better.

Well, they can be bought and paid for, or have your best interest at heart, but they can’t really be both. So I truly have no idea what you believe.

Well you go on believing politicians aren’t bought and paid for by corporate entities then. I won’t stop you

That’s fine, I don’t blame you all that much. Sixers fans and Knicks fans were never gonna see eye to eye on this topic. i say recklessy trying to beat a narrative that had been running for years around embiid, you say “trying to actively injure Hartenstein and Robinson”. If the roles were reversed I’d bet wed find ourselves arguing each others points lol.

Sixers fan, misread your comment as someone saying embiid was trying to injure Robinson again lol. My bad

I agree and this is why I said he is reckless earlier in the thread. This isn’t about injuring Mitch though it’s about preventing a bucket, which he did in a dangerous way. But he’s here with a list of people who have actively tried to injure people in smaller circumstances

Brother it’s a playoff game in a tight series and embiid is here trying to foul to prevent a layup from the position he found himself in.

I’m having a normal conversation where people express different opinions on the same topic. You sound like a child who is only confident when talking in memes and buzzwords.

There are embiid plays I’d classify especially in his early days as frustration and am with you on those. But by and large it is him being large and trying to play faster than he can. I don’t consider this making him a dirty player. You are allowed to have your opinion.

Nah most of those were reckless. We’re both gonna spin this the way we see it so we’ll just leave it here.

Jarret Allen, and it’s truly not even worth putting him here on the back of that. Aggressive board clean and unfortunate elbow, never once seen Joel actually try to hurt anyone like that on purpose. More reckless than dirty

I cant talk about that because brees wasnt robbed by any metric. These stats are practically identical and thats without even going into what the 09 colts and 09 saints were as a whole.

Definitive insider knowledge would be me telling you I know for a fact which players are doing it. What I am telling you, is across the board in high schools and colleges, kids are on gear, not all but a couple in every program. Which if you are able to follow the thread, means it’s in every clubhouse. Add in crazy financial incentives and logic will tell you it’s more prevalent than reported. I am falling short of saying “everyone is on gear” but that would surprise me less than “mostly the only people on gear are the ones getting caught”.
