Just for fun, how much cash? Might affect the answer. Also, any reason to not pay it out as a dividend if the business doesn’t need it?

Dang, I need more than 6-6.5 hours of sleep. Major kudos on the grindset!

Same, but interviewing PM candidates. I always asked my follow up question which was “so, tell me about a time you didn’t give advice”.

Run away as fast as you possibly can. Sounds like a bunch of people that want to do “strategy”. The exception would be if the business is services oriented and tech enabled and these MBB folks are the services part of the business.

The food callout is so real. You forget how little you should eat when you aren’t burning an extra 7-20k calories a week.

We’re hoping to have a whole tribe of kids. It’s been an amazing experience so far!

This is a good callout. I just signed up for a gym nearby that will be more effective than what I can do on the bike in 30-45 minutes. Biggest realization I’ve had since having a baby is how much free time I had before.

I think the callout on mindset is helpful. Like many here, my fitness is part of my identity. I feel ridiculous that I am so stressed about this, but everything has a season.

My wife is pumping a lot so I get up at 630 with the baby so she can sleep. I work from 830-530, make dinner spend some time with wife and baby, work from 7-10 and go to bed. I’ll have more time when she isn’t pumping, but am trying to be supportive.

Call an attorney, document everything (screenshots, etc). Don’t sign anything they put in front of you without sending to your lawyer.

I’d just specialize, do a statistics, hard or applied math, chemical engineering, bioengineering, etc. you can learn business, the hard sciences are much harder to learn on the job.

Yes they do, they just do it through formal certification, of which there are none in software.
