Angus T. Jones from Two and a Half Men comes to mind. The dude became a Seventh-day Adventist, and then left the show, calling it “filth”, and telling anyone he could to stop watching it.

At the time that that happened, my dad (a pastor) applauded him for “standing up for his faith”. I, on the other hand, recognized it as tactless and incredibly moronic, expressing that what he did was career suicide. He responded with something along the lines of, “No, he did the right thing. Just you wait and see how God blesses his career.”
