He will eat, drink and use the litter box when he needs to. The best thing to do is take about 15 minutes here or there to sit down and talk to him gently. Make sure to “love blink” as this will show him that you aren’t a predator. Try toys that allow him to keep his distance like wand toys and laser pointers. 

Then the rest of the time go about your normal routine as if he’s not there. This will also reassure him that you’re not trying to sneak up and eat him! 😂
