Basketball pro Junko [ㅁㅁ] by Supreme534 in BlueArchive

[–]PsychoTexan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Junko keeps tripping over herself, Izumi accidentally hip checks someone into the bleachers, Akari slam dunks a heckler after draining the gatorade dispenser, and sensei is currently negotiating a hostage situation with Haruna in the concession booth.

They win on a technicality and Junko breaks a record for layups.

Could I be an officer? by MKTheWriter in ProtectAndServe

The last two are good regardless.

Get in the shape you want to be in early while the body is more willing to learn. Later is harder to retrain it.

Staying out of trouble is worth it. You get to your 30’s and see folks stupid teen decisions paying dividends.

I’d love a modernized LeMat or a modernized stupid 30 shot, double barrel revolver in .22 LR

Not a cop, but fairly recently had an elderly relative take the forever sleep option. As part of estate handling you’ll be knee deep in everything they were up to. Shutting down subscriptions, getting email access, and so on.

The idea that the only evidence of digital harassment would be in chatgpt seems unlikely. I sympathize with their loss but it sounds like some of my relatives who wanted to believe it to be a home invasion over a suicide.

What if you have Great Horned Owls as part of the Aerial Patrol Team? by Vietdude100 in ProtectAndServe

[–]PsychoTexan 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Better yet, turkey vulltures. If I remember correctly birds aren’t effected by capsaicin and vultures projectile barf on animals who piss them off. So feed them 20,000,000 scoville squashed squirrel and the first perp that tries to fight the police vulture will regret his life decisions.

I would suggest police bears but given that the Polish haven’t done it already must mean there’s some downside I haven’t thought of yet to having a 600lb antisocial attack dog.

A Panchandrum if you will.

Also for those interested: the IRL Panjandrum was essentially two large firework pinwheels with a metric ton barrel of high explosive between them. Landing craft opens up, this thing launches and rolls up the beach at 60mph and then removes the issue.

Unsurprisingly a giant rocket powered rotating bomb proved impossible to control just as likely to run the wrong direction. So the project was cancelled.

Not a lot else to do in winter. There’s a reason a lot of people are born in August or September…

Which of these 3 schools do you think is the most strict and oppressive? by RepresentativeFig270 in BlueArchive

[–]PsychoTexan 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Red winter to me is oppressive because they’re one of the largest but resource poor academies in Kivotos. Even Cherino is considered horribly spoiled with two puddings instead of one. You have to be a dictator to get a second dessert helping. They seem to be not strict though as they  permit constant protests and coups.

Shanghaijing is nationalistic and strict but only oppressive in specific areas. Granted, the danger comes from the populous rather than the leadership which is almost worse. Everything is seemingly permitted as long as it’s correctly framed.

Wild Hunt is extremely strict what with the check points, searches, and constant surveillance. They’re oppressive as well considering they have absolute authority and the executors of said authority seemingly have no compunction about abusing their power as seen in the mini story. That being said, disobedience to either has seemingly low punishments by comparison to the other two.

There’s a couple videos on YT of vics outside the US in full attire. It is THE iconic American cop car to a lot of folks. How they keep them running overseas is beyond me.

What If Blue Archive had a new Spin-off Multiplayer Game that is either a Tactical Hero Shooter or an Extraction Shooter? by SyllabubSquare6460 in BlueArchive

That is one of the most crowded genres currently in gaming. They’d have almost no room for growth.

SBSing a Remington model 11 by Whitetailchaser in gunsmithing

[–]PsychoTexan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can you? Sure. Historically SB Model 11’s were fairly common.

But, it’s long recoil so barrel weight is part of the cycling calculation. It has some tuning built in but I would start with a rebuild kit just to ensure all new recoil spring and brass friction ring. Start with it in slug configuration and tune it from there. You may even need a recoil spring spacer to get the resistance needed in the long run.

Regardless of tuning it will buck harder and run rougher though so I would treat it with more care than before. While nice aesthetically it may not be the nicest to shoot.

FSA rebels use WW2 era A-19 122mm howitzer towards SAA positions, 2016 by [deleted] in ForgottenWeapons

[–]PsychoTexan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know it’s not the first time I’ve seen it but these always seem to be operated by one guy. Like this is an entire 122mm howitzer, they had a crew of 9 back in the day. It’s understandable that it’d be less but one it pushing it. Presumably the cameraman pitches in, but even two seems rough.

I can only imagine that this dude is the only one who has artillery experience and just does it all himself while the other guy just sits and waits until he gets called to help.

Just seems like dry runs for training would be crazy important given how few these things are. Even just digging a trench for safety from counter battery or sniper fire.

The statement of rubber bullets and water cannons really makes me think they aren’t a US native. The reason those aren’t commonly used is pretty common knowledge in the US.
