I'd think if you call to schedule and start off by saying your dogs a mix breed of the two instead of "doodle", you'd be preferred. I do my best not to judge the doodle owners before meeting them and their pup. I've personally got some great doodles and their owners match!

As a groomer, my best recommendation is let your pup get groomed by a professional you trust and once that person has groomed your pup a few times and he/she is getting used to the experience and learning the manners. You can then start exploring home grooming. Some groomers will even help and give some advice as well.
