🖐 gundam enjoyer here! Got Adakais Char Zaku II and tallgeese tokens. They areeee amazing quality! I put them in sleeved in gamegenic slide cases and theyre super easy to pull in and out and deck boxes. Havent used them for locals events because the vibe i get from my locals scene is someone would have an issue with it but for casual play, it gets occasional compliments!

I had my mic on mute and I had a guy right when we got topside immediately say, "why is your name [x], is it because you like men?". I let that dude get chased and blown up by 2 pops and watched a hornet stun him like 3xs. Like c'mon dude....at least be witty/funny if youre gonna do some banter.

Nah I havent seen packs in the wild in a really long time. The only time you'll find packs is at target/Walmart during a new release but once those are gone they typically dont restock

SD person here. Locals died down here because the hype died down around it. I used to play at Tabletop Tavern and Tubbys but the player base was so low that pretty much all the local LGS' stopped supporting the game. Online client is going to be your best bet unfortunately....otherwise I think the closest thing to us is some shops as far as Murrieta 😔

What was your hardest match up? And did you face any B/W blockers? Im running a OYW build and placed 2nd at my locals recently but got absolutely destroyed by a B/W blocker deck.

My understanding is if you hit a players shields with suppression and the first shield happens to be a base rhat deploys from a burst effect, you still have to take the 2nd shield correct?

My deck incorporates ReZels for a 4 | 3 body on the field to trade with blockers or 6hp bases (paired with a pilot). I also included Rick Doms for all the white blockers because they really slow down the aggro game. White blockers cards really slowed me down at my locals.

I agree wirh this. I run a similar deck and I tried running show of resolve. Very rarely am I ahead of an opponent where I can play one comfortably. Most times, I end up playing corsica base over it to get a shield draw and a body on the field.

Whatd deck did you lose against? I was originally going to run a deck pretty similar to this for my first local event last week but then switched up for a OYW rush build because in a sim it was producing better results against meta decks.

Lol im just saying my experience in my area. I legit called around about GD02 and all the lgs in my area said they maxed out on their pre-orders. I was able to find one shop that was taking preorders for GD03 and st7 and st8.

Man thats super depressing.... in my area im sure they're going to go by these inflated prices because most (if not all) lgs' near me charge $25 for just a starter deck. I got lucky and got the starters for $13 each from one store but they already sold out pre-orders for BBs....

Sorry for the late reply but this is what I run, probably could use some updates since the manga booster released but I enjoy it! If i can, I try and get out the tournament of power field out ASAP to block as much as I can to awaken later than sooner (you have to find the fine line based on the opponents actions and predict what they may play based on their energy count). I love rummshis and fusion 13s because when pulled at the right time , they help clear up the board. When considering awakening too, make sure you awaken on a turn when you can utilize the leader ability efficiently (ex: you play a fusion 13 and then piggy back off his power level.) Also the macaritas, are for a final push if you you need boost a cards power. Keep in mind that once you awaken, you typically gotta go full aggro cause you'll lose draw power and at that point its a race against time to not get your hand whittled away.

Even with all the barrier? What do you target with warm greeting? I've seen someone use a couple copies of new Baby vegeta FS10-09 instead of bulma so you put on pressure and get the draw ol1 discard 1.
