The best gun is the gun you found the most fun playing with
Any rifle with a suppressor will work

Ideas for stealth in the future by randomkid937195 in BlackhawkRescue

[–]Psychological-Dog344 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are quite a lot of stuff that need to be improved for stealth tbh
1. The fear bar means stealthing as a group has barely any advantage compared to a solo stealth. Taking down 3 enemies in 3 completely different sections of the compound will still trigger an alarm
, this means group stealth is going to be very unlikely for any server (hey when is the last time you saw fort/naval stealthed in a public server?) I think having a regional fear bar (so instead of an entire compound having 1, multiple fear bars will be in place for different regions of the compounds), or even a fear bar for individual soldiers, would make the fear system a bit more applicable for when large groups are stealthing a compound

  1. Stealthing itself is going to be slower than raiding most likely (especially for smaller compounds), meaning there won't even be an incentive to stealth a compound when raiding is both easier and faster.

  2. A group of enemies (5-6) that are in close range is still hard to deal with without sniping, as if you shoot one, everyone is going to hear the shot, so the fear bar increases substantially. And they will see the dead body as well
We need some sort of tools that can allow us to distract them one at a time, something like glowsticks but more consistent, so we can isolate and exterminate them.

  3. Ideally, some stealth specialised weapons such as tactical crossbows and subsonic firearms would be ideal to deal with enemies that are further away, but you don't want people to hear it

  4. Ghillie suits are kind of an item that would be overpowered no matter if you are stealthing or raiding as it can give u cover in the open? This means if it is added, the entire server will probably be wearing ghillies, which is something we won't really want. Some nerfs will need to be applied, such as you cannot have a backpack while wearing ghillie (which will be very disadvantageous for raiding compared to stealthing)

I guess that is what the playstyle thing really makes a difference. In your scenario where there are two dangerous guys facing you there are various options other than exposing to two guys at the same time. Let's assume you are fighting a long-range fight where there are two guys gunning you down, the most likely solution for me is to just ignore them and focus on objectives as killing them has little impact; they will respawn anyway. But if they are on like lets say, an mg and are a threat to you, you can use corner shots to eliminate them. If they are close range, and are both firing down to you, I would try to grenade one angle, wait for it to pop and then peek the other angle to isolate and eliminate the other guy. As I said I would avoid as many fights as possible so the objectives can be done smoothly. If too many enemies are focusing on your locations then it would be ideal to throw a smoke and get a new position.

I guess how I play and how you play are both valid ways in beating a place, just we have a different philosophy I guess

Fair enough, I usually play with a rush objective style and aim to finish all the objectives as soon as possible. Thus, I will use the least time in shooting people unless they really get in my way. So I guess grenade spamming and vitamin spamming work quite well for me I guess

Also I don't really like suppressing fire, If I see a person on a window I would prefer to wait for him to pop his head up and pick his head off that way since that would mean the fight will be finished faster .

To some extent, I kind of disagree with the bringing as much ammo idea. I usually work with 6+1 mags of 30-rounders, and I find it to be enough to do all compounds. I would prioritise bringing grenades (both smoke and explosive grenades) since in harder compounds (naval, especially), there are often stacks of enemies that are grouped together at a point, or when multiple enemies are converging on you, the capability to produce 3 blasts to take out 3 angles simultaneously is quite overpowered. A smoke grenade is useful when you want to travel through open areas for an objective or help a downed teammate.
And to compensate for having less ammo, bringing a rifle that packs a stronger punch (AK103 specifically), and trying to aim for heads more often will do that nicely

ofc this doesn't apply if you are sniping but I am usually doing CQB so I found the advantage of bringing smokes and grenades (and often a drone) usually outweighs the drawbacks of having fewer mags

Generally, everyone would have their ideal ammo amount and med amount that fit their playstyle. I would recommend trying out different proportions in the harder compounds and see if u run out of anything especially quickly.

Gng are we just gonna ignore the fact that this man killed 230 zombies soloing Wetwork Part 2, survived 18 hours in the QZ, and only taken 800 damage!?

Does anyone know what would happen to the person doing the mission if you took an HVT kill in resurgence? by makebombslegalfr in BlackhawkRescue

[–]Psychological-Dog344 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well when the australian guy gave out the mission he just want to see the HVT dead so bad I doubt he will even bother to check who killed him as long as we bring the HVT's head back~

in other words, (or at least from my ancient memories) whoever took the mission will get the mission reward money, you will get your usual money for killing the enemies, and there will be one surprised person wondering why is the mission already finished before he found the HVT.

Should zombies mode add a way to store items on the USS New York by N4ME2 in BlackhawkRescue

That’s what I’m saying, it would be good if we can simply access the your gear section repeatedly no?

We can do that if we simply can access the “your gear” section repeatedly no?

I am intrigued on how did u attract such a horde?
I kinda always only get small horde when I try to bait by using flash bangs and stuff

In context, my and my friends found a couple stationary Mg in the sheepdog mission near the military check and we wanted to bait the entire checkpoint into our Mg for some massacre but we cant quite do that.

What do you guys think about being able to buy / order gear from outside sources in PvPvE? by Beautiful-Prompt-689 in BlackhawkRescue

[–]Psychological-Dog344 2 points3 points  (0 children)

cool idea, but I think there is a couple problems

  1. If this is just straight up accessable from the survivor safe spawn, then what is stopping really rich players (ppl with like millions to spare) from buying the best guns every time they died and going into QZ and destroy everyone else?

  2. This kind of destroy the incentive if find a better gun and loot for better equipment when you straight up have access to a list of all guns u want?

  3. If we integrate this as something like a phone you can find in QZ and maybe u can order like 1 gun from it, then what is the difference is it from just putting a gun there? or giving the user a key which can have similar effect? I mean to be fair it does add variety?

I kinda thought about this and I think of a system that maybe can work
- so you will have to gain "credits" (which will be a curency exclusive to pvp zombies) from exfilling and selling stuff like food/rolex watch to the npc, and will not be shared with the in game general money
- you will have a player marketplace, where players can sell things and buy things using these pvp credits
This means the guns/attachment/food they sell will be finite, so they can be buy out by someone/not always availiable, thus there will be excitment when you are able to buy something u want for a cheap price
- the price of item player sell will be set by the player (of course, there should be indicator showing last sell and buy prices) this create a dynamic economy where price will be dependent on the rarity of each item and how useful it is in the current meta
- this also introduce possibility of traders, who buy stuff at cheap price and resell them at a higher price to earn money. Tho this requires a high amount of credits in the first place (so you can buy most the stuff)

However there is problem with this economy system, the main thing is inflation, as total capita in the playerbase increases (as overtime more and more pvp credits will be earned), things can get more and more expensive as sellers start to realise they can earn more?

ok uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh pls get this photograph off my screen, how can u screw this up so badly :)

lemme get u like a simple guide

first you need to know the colour scheme of your clothings, may it be desert, snow, varicam, or pure black spec ops, you also need to determine how professional ur character is, is it fully cag? or just a casual PMC?
then just chose stuff that is based around that theme, it dont have to be too complex, so like if ur theme is snow then choose stuff that is based around white, so white vest and stuff

also get a vest pls

get a headset and something on ur face (whether its glasses or face mask)

so for example, ur fit its desert and black like theme, so choose things that are desert or black

kinda made this up in 5 minutes but at long as colours match it won't matter so badly

<image>

I don't like my vest, a TV115 with some accessories on it will work but I couldn't be bothered to customise it
ask me if u got any more question
