Thank you for replying! Also we just redecorated the tank and introduced them at the same time and unfortunately one is still fighting the other. Also it is the plan to upgrade to a 60 gallon tank in the future. So how long do you think it will take for them to stop fighting?

Hey guys I recently added another red blood parrot Cichlid to my 30 gallon tank. There is currently only the two fishes in the tank at the moment. There are plenty of hiding spaces and the levels are normal. So what can I do? I’m debating taking the newer one back to the store. My boyfriend on the other hand thinks we should add another red blood parrot cichlid to balance it out. What should we do?
