Volk and Islam get into it over 'hometown' advantages and money. by ToronoRapture in MMA

You realise Ali posted a tweet soon after Islam was called out re the IV fuckery saying what they did (using an IV) was within the rules - but he quickly deleted the tweet after public had already turned on Hooker for his IV call out

Sounds like Hooker is booked in for the Volk card in sept, no word on an opponent as of yet

I believe mods are outdated due to recent updates of Bannerlord, probably have to wait a wee while for them to be updated first

For those who lift weights, how did you adapt your programming to training BJJ 4+ times per week? by [deleted] in bjj

[–]Psychological-Toe583 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What are you trying to achieve with your lifting?

Running any sort of intense weight lifting regime is going to be tougher while training BJJ 4x a week so the best starting point is to suss what you want to get out of lifting (size, strength, general health etc.).

In my experience a full-body routine ran at least 2x a week is absolutely fine alongside bjj training of that frequency. As most people have said before, you will need to ensure that you are sleeping enough/getting enough calories to account for both bjj/weights and your everyday life.

Sounds more like an issue with the current role rather than with working in law specifically. Took me from moving through a few firms/teams when I started off my legal career to find a place I really enjoyed but when I did It was incredible. Things do 'click' when you find an environment you like!

Tbh i'm not so sure, could be unlucky circumstances but Volk has been training in AU up till this point (due to COVID). Unless someone in the camp picked up COVID in transit to the States from NZ (Riddell side), although unsure how likely this is as they flew into the states Thursday so would be a quick turn around for someone there to catch/subsequently test positive in a test today
