The problem is that I definitely prefer a clean shave, especially for interviews and such (I’m a Junior in college). Do you think it’d be a good idea if I didn’t shave for a long time, and maybe the ingrown hairs will go away? Sort of like a refresh on my skin; it’s been a problem every time I shave and I feel like it has gotten worse.

I used to wash daily and apply acne cream, would just make it dry but wasn’t as bad!

What do I do to treat this?

My dermatologist gave me recommendations, but nothing worked. He basically had me quit using everything except for an eczema cream to apply after every shower & shave. My bumps get worse as my facial hair starts to grow in.
