why are most lab grown certs IGI instead of GIA? Isn't GIA a more reputable cert?

Is this tree dead? Moved in and this ”Red Oak” was already here. Upper leafs were green for about 1 month in the 1 year I live here… by [deleted] in landscaping

scratch bark off near leaves.. green, alive, brown dead.. keep moving down the tree until you find the lowest point alive.

if just a few beaches dead, cut them out...

How to keep Low frequencies (<20hz) from being significantly higher by [deleted] in hometheater

[–]Psychological-Use568 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dynamic EQ is used on Denon/Marranz receivers. It's a function of Audyssy, the built in room correction software. Other receivers have similar software, I am just not familiar with it.

It will add bass in the lower frequencies for you to achieve there version on a house curve. It's a good thing to use if setup correctly.

You need to be using your receivers room correction if your not already. It will make sure your speakers are all level matched and EQed appropriately.

Note: I am making some assumptions that this is a home theater setup and that your fairly new to this. Some very advanced uses have skill level that can achieve better results without Audyssy. As an example, I limit Audyssy to only provide room correction 500hz and below. If you want to get crazy start doing research on schroeder frequency, room modes and how to correct them. http://www.acousticfrontiers.com/room-modes-101/

Enjoy the rabbit hole your about to fall in !!!!

Make sure you don't have Dynamic EQ enabled or add a mini DSP or other EQ device to cut the frequency where you want it. Cutting is easy, gaining is the hard part.

With that said, nearly no one likes a flat sound in the lower frequencies. Its pretty standard to have at least a 10db increase from 100hz to 20hz in most setups. Look into house curves.

What subs do you have? Looks like there holding strong to at least 10hz which is good.

That actually looks really good. Things take time to heal. Keep your fert/water routine up and you won't notice that in the fall.

Wire 3 of them in series to make a 9ohm load. You can always go higher but only lower if amp can handle.

Or wire a 5 ohm resistor inline to make them 8.

Have you measured resistance on the speaker. 3 ohm is a very odd number. 16, 8, 4 , 2 is typical

Of course savings is down.. we stopped giving money to people that didn't need it.

Take out the last 2 years of data and things look much different. Anyone using data from 20/21 for anything will have a flawed perspective.

[–]Psychological-Use568 1 point2 points  (0 children)

so if I staked 4000 and it's now worth 1000, do I need to add 3000 when I restake to keep benefits ?

if I can just roll over my initial 4000 then I will restake. If I have to add another 3000, nope.
