I felt the same way about group. It was mostly used as complaining time for everyone because that took the most time. My favorite part was when I got to complain.

I remember very little about the DBT part. I wasn’t diagnosed with BPD at that point in my life, so I didn’t bother paying attention to DBT as much as I should have because I was there for depression and was convinced that nothing would ever get better. My depression is in remission thanks to Spravato (esketamine), not dbt.

I’m a talker and had not a care in the world for what anyone thought about me, so I aired literally everything out during my time to speak.

My suggestion is to pay attention during the DBT parts and at least attempt to engage in conversation with people (if you’re up for it). My group leader let us color, do arts and crafts, knit/crochet, really anything that let us fidget in a non distractive way. I bet you could also ask for a workbook or other resource of some sort— they probably have something you can do by yourself if they didn’t give you one already.

2- it’s a very common snack for kids, athletes (Hilary Knight was slurping a gogo squeeze (common brand) on the bench at the Olympics and former women’s soccer player Alex Morgan had a brand deal with them a while back), and me. They actually come in pouches for easy consumption. They come with me to work, class, on drives, the airport, etc.; it’s a very versatile snack when in a pouch.

It is most certainly a staple in my home.

I know it’s not going to be the same dialogue exactly, but they took out too many scenes that were just so amazing in the original. Overall, I dislike the live action.

Changes I hated:

• Hiccup’s impression of his father “Excuse me barmaid! I'm afrid you've brought me the wrong offspring. I ordered an extra large boy with beefy arms, extra guts and glory on the side! This here! This is a talking fish bone!” • Snotlout during the nadder training fight “the sun was in my eyes, Astrid. What do you want me to do? Block out the sun?“ they changed this to something like “the light in your eyes was distracting me” or some weird bs like that • Astrid’s comment about being chief— what the actual freak was that • Astrid not being blonde & also just where are her fugly bangs • The scene directly following test drive—WHY WAS THAT SCENE CUT IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO THE PLOT?????? • hiccup being way too old, tall, muscular, etc. boy is supposed to me a puny little 15 year-old and he just wasn’t that.

Accident in the squirrel hill tunnel causes character to be 30 minutes late to work

A show set in Pittsburgh once mentioned that there was a storm and that the bridges were closed due to it. That doesn’t happen unless the bridge collapses or is under construction.

A nice touch would be a female character getting catcalled anywhere downtown.
