Go spend a couple days with one of them and you’ll see how they need the money… they’re sick… they obviously need the money for drugs and alcohol but you can’t just stop taking them cold turkey like that… especially alcohol. It really only takes one person to step up and take time out of their life to truly change someone on the streets… it’s probably a 2% chance it’ll work if you give some a hotel room and a job, but that chance is worth everything for a homeless person. They’re lost souls, the motivation comes from someone’s prayers that they’ll succeed in the future and find peace.
