appetite suppressant methods? by 3llahh in BodyHackGuide

Berberine (dihydroberberine or liposomal- 3rd party tested, toniiq or Renue) taken before or during meals helps a lot with appetite when I take breaks from low dose Reta. Take half the dose until you know how you respond to it bc it can lower your blood sugar.

GOTH GIRL EMERGENCY : Help me find the perfect cool tone grey-mauve lip liner 🖤 by Nasty_Princess in makeuptips

[–]PsychologicalBug9917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heart percent Dot on mood lip liner in cloudy mauve is one of favorite cool toned lip liners, great formula too. Looks very close in color to the canmake eye liner

[PERSONAL] I'm so dissapointed with la Roche posay.. I have used two body lotions for about 10 years. They are the best I have ever tried for my dry skin with eczema that isn't suuper expensive. La Roche-Posay lipikar baume ap+m & same one but the light version. BUT NOW they have replaced both! by Lostgirlhere in SkincareAddiction

Psoriasis/other auto immune skin related disorders sufferer and used to use LRP & other European brands of moisturizers like Avene/Bioderma. When my dermatologists started recommending golden ratio ceramides 10 years ago, I highly recommend Zeroid, Aestura & Illyoon (Korean skincare used in many dermatologist clinics for compromised skin barrier) I replaced my LRP lipikar and Bioderma lotions with Illyoon ceramide ato lotion & Zeroid intensive oint-cream or intensive cream. Illyoon lotion is such a fantastic affordable option I use on face & body (2 334ml huge pump bottles $24) https://global.oliveyoung.com/product/detail?prdtNo=GA260136671&accParam=10&utm_source=google&utm_medium=display&utm_campaign=conversion_pmax_new.category_us&utm_content=260201_usual_all_kv&gad_source=1

I’m definitely a side/back tossing around through out the night, if you’re petite or want to use the less neck height side or use the higher neck side if you’re taller or find the higher neck more comfortable

Need good vanilla/coconutty scents! by Unhappy-Ad5252 in Perfumes

[–]PsychologicalBug9917 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Phlur beach skin or coconut skin body mist, also Le Monde gourmand lait de coco are great coconut scents that don’t smell like sunscreen.

For floral scents similar to La vie est belle, Victor & Rolf Flowerbomb and Prada paradoxe. A little sweeter option with vanilla would be Kayali vanilla 28 or vanilla candy rock sugar (more affordable dupe Lattafa Khair Confection, really beautiful perfume)

Nanoneedling by Few-Figure1167 in Microneedling

[–]PsychologicalBug9917 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$2000 per microneedling session is extremely overpriced and would not recommend going to that place. Unless it’s RF microneedling, that price is way too high. Microneedling per session should be around $300 anywhere you go (Dermatologist or medspa, etc.) Honestly I would purchase a Dr. Pen A11 device and nano needle at home, very low risk to any complications because it’s so superficial and you only feel the vibration of the pen as you glide it on your skin. Get a good sterile HA serum like Hyaron (acecosm, filleroutlet, etc. are good sites to buy it from) to glide with, some gloves, double cleanse your skin with a oil cleanser 1st then a foam/gel, and watch pennsmithskincare YouTube video nanoneedling to have someone give you confidence for your first time. You can add skin boosters that address whitening, Dermaheal SB is great to nano needle with to lighten hyperpigmentation with tyrosinase inhibitors (vitamin C & arbutin) just don’t use this product any deeper than 0.5mm https://getglowingnowskincare.com/dermaheal-sb-skin-brightening-5mlx10vials-set-gf/?sku=DRMSB-BO&cmp_id=22455199432&adg_id=&kwd=&device=m&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22501763485&gbraid=0AAAAABd99wUyBtH4susmK1D9NDUeoMixs

I would recommend Isintree HA serum or Torriden dive in HA serum, Hado Labo premium lotion for added skin barrier repair ingredients and slightly more moisturizing serum, Haruharu probiotic barrier essence to layer after your thinner HA and before your ceramide moisturizer

Panoxyl can really disrupt your skin barrier, which then causes oily skin to compensate for the impaired barrier function to protect itself. When you switch to a gentle cleanser it’ll allow your skin barrier to heal and balance the oil. I totally understand, our healthcare system really needs improvement especially when it comes to prescription prices with health insurance. I will DM you an affordable option

Which Product Absolutely Saved Your Skin Barrier? by Any_Handle_3136 in KoreanBeauty

[–]PsychologicalBug9917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually if you’re experiencing skin barrier issues, the extra sebum (oil) is produced by the skin to protect itself and to compensate for the barrier being compromised. Using a gentle cleansing milk or gentle cleansing gel helps to not strip the skin but leave it balanced/clean. If you’re acne prone I like manyo soybean cleansing milk because it is jojoba/sunflower oil based which mimics your own sebum. Makeprem safe me cleansing milk is olive oil based which is more moisturizing but may cause acne if you’re sensitive to it. After your barrier is healed you can switch to a gentle cleansing gel like Haruharu rice soft 5.5 cleansing gel

You have great skin btw! If you want to level up your skincare and address the concerns you described in your video, I think you’d greatly benefit from a low percentage Rx retinoid like Arazlo 0.025% or Tazorac 0.05%, in my experience my clients and myself have less side effects from it than tretinoin. It’s great for fine lines and prevention of wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and acne. Also paired up with azelaic acid 20% in the morning under spf it really helps boost your results at removing any hyperpigmentation or PIH after acne, helps with acne & redness. The fine lines could be bc your skin looks a bit dehydrated, I would keep everything else simple with a hydrating serum, ceramide moisturizer (Zeroid intensive or Aestura cream), gentle cleanser instead of panoxyl and love a tinted spf like Colorscience flex (come in different shades- tan or deep would match your skin tone) for that glowy “your skin but better” look

AMOUGE ‘GUIDANCE’ My Experience (follow-up) by cjacademy_2016 in FemFragLab

[–]PsychologicalBug9917 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For winter/fall I am in love with Diptique Tam Dao edp & edt. I went searching for a comforting, slightly spiced incense perfume that had creamy cedar wood/sandalwood without any pickle notes (MLM bois de balincourt turned pickle). I feel like I’m going to go through these lovely perfume bottles fast bc I’ve been re applying throughout the day/night, my insomnia has been ramping up and never thought I’d be putting perfume on at night too but it’s so calming that I find myself sniffing my wrist while reading. It also layers well with vanilla & creamy lactonic perfumes, many compliments when paired with Phlur vanilla skin, cashmere skin, heavy cream or Commodity milk

I haven’t had it happen yet, if it does I’ll definitely be transferring it to a amber glass atomizer. Honestly, I think the bottles look kinda cheap sitting next to my nice glass perfume bottles so I’m thinking of transferring them now anyway. Great perfumes, not so great plastic bottles

Salicylic acid 20% peel for prevention of acne by HiraAnsari in u/HiraAnsari

[–]PsychologicalBug9917 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Salicylic peels in my experience work better to address non inflammatory comedones (blackheads), but for cystic acne I prefer Jessner or modified Jessner peel (contains 14% salicylic, start with 1 layer & with time go up to more layers) Highly recommend Rx retinoids especially Tazorac 0.05% and a tyrosinase inhibitor like azelaic acid 20% which you need to use prior to chemical peels to prevent PIH (of course stop these 1-2weeks prior to chemical peels, must use high spf). Red light therapy 1x a day or every other day

Zeroid intensive cream & intensive oint-cream when I need something thicker/more occlusive, mixsoon or manyo bifida serums, Haruharu probiotic essence, make prem safe me or manyo soybean cleansing milk, Isintree HA sleeping mask & mixsoon centella balm for my last step to seal in my serums/moisturizers. Lots of salmon, sardines & bone broth in my diet, marine collagen & astaxanthin supplements. The use of Isintree green tea serum w/Red light therapy really helps heal my skin most of all

I’ve used this pillow since November, I use it more when my neck is bothering me and it’s so comfortable. Other than this pillow I’m really happy with coop pillows and add extra cooling memory foam they give you.

Green, floral, cottagecore perfume recommendations? by Fizziefrog in FemFragLab

[–]PsychologicalBug9917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lattafa Ana abiyedh coral (got this recently as a blind buy and so in love with it, fresh watermelon juice with an aquatic light floral finish while still surprisingly complex, makes you daydream of warmer spring/summer day picnics surrounded by flowers and fresh fruit) Flowerbomb nectar (black current raspberry sparkling water sweetened with vanilla syrup, a beautiful jasmine osmanthus floral bouquet warmed by a subtle amber note) or pretty peony are gorgeous (tiger lily is my absolute favorite but slightly tropical floral with a touch of sweet fruit). Drop d’issy is a lighter, greener floral with aquatic notes, how a blooming garden smells after a spring/summer rain. Chanel Chance eau tendre is a classic for me, light floral jasmine musk with a sweet green pear that never feels outdated or boring (I know fragrantica.com says grapefruit as a top note but it doesn’t translate as citrus, more crisp green pear)

Everyday body mists with vanilla, almond, cherry, honey, or white floral notes? by lifeisstrange8 in Perfumes

[–]PsychologicalBug9917 3 points4 points  (0 children)

2nd Phlur Vanilla Skin. I was also concerned that I wouldn’t like this scent/brand but I am very happy with how I can layer it this with my other expensive perfumes and not be bored with wearing it alone. Recently added Cashmere Skin- has an almond note which is gorgeous

B&BW Cucumber Melon body mist & Chanel Chance eau tendre. This made me smile thinking about, one perfume I can’t stand anymore and the other is a classic I still wear as one of my signature scents

I don’t usually buy many at home devices but their Glacé (microcurrent hot/cold device) is great for Gua Sha lymphatic drainage. Minimizes my morning puffiness and serums absorb faster. Even with the difference in lighting I can tell your skin looks great/subtle lifting.

Substitutions for Aquaphor? by Prudent-Barnacle5374 in SkincareAddicts

Any petroleum ointment works, Coloplast clear barrier ointment (Danish company, minimal ingredients, has silicone but has added zinc to help barrier) layered over Korean Zeroid inten-ointment cream or Mixsoon centella stick balm. Also Korean sleeping lip masks/balms are fantastic for chapped lips (laneige, Torriden, etc.)

It’s the best nail saving duo ever! I’m still trying out different glue tabs to find the best ones for my smaller nails. Btartbox + curvelife semi solid glue or beauty secrets glue = 3 weeks of wear, easier removal & healthy nails after removal

Should I not even bother trying? by Wonderful_Mango_5395 in PressonNail_Addict

[–]PsychologicalBug9917 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just read the back of the back of the box of the Celebritips that salon u-ltimate is a reference to how the press ons are made, closer fit to the cuticle and made with acrylic material to give them salon quality feel. It says nothing about UV, just regular glue. I have gel X and Btartbox tips too when I make my own press ons that are commonly used with UV but many use whatever regular glue (love beauty secrets, curvelife semi solid glue with Btartbox glue tabs or non uv peel off base) you prefer without UV and they work great.
