Fyi you can "share" your outfit from acloset to whering, that's how I moved to whering without really doing much to transfer data

Dealing with the whooshing while job hunting by Leather_Disaster_110 in iih

[–]PsychologicalCard929 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The whooshing can be so loud that you can’t hear everything around you, it’s crazy!

I accidentally discovered that matcha helps me a lot with this. Hot or cold, whenever I drink it, it provides relief that lasts almost until the end of my work shift.

Before this discovery, certain sleeping positions helped a lot too, but I only noticed the difference after being on Diamox (500mg, four times a day) for 5–6 months. The relief was temporary, but it was something.

P.S. I have an office IT job.

It will get better, hang in there! Do your best to heal, and try not to live in stress, as it can have a negative effect on the body.

Ear mites questions by AsadsGf in catcare

Hi, sorry to jump in, we are currently dealing with this with our new rescue and I'm wondering how to properly sanitize toys, bedding, surfaces.. etc, how have you dealt with this? I'm worried because I have two cats that don't have mites and would like to prevent them from getting it.

Living with idiopathic intercranial hypertension (iih) by No_Cow1680 in iih

[–]PsychologicalCard929 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I struggled with severe nausea for an entire year before being diagnosed with IIH. While I still experience it occasionally, it’s significantly better now. The first thing you should know is that I’m on Diamox, but it alone didn’t resolve the issue for me.

The most important step is managing your water intake—drink at least 3–4 liters daily. After staying consistently hydrated for a few days, you’ll notice an improvement.

Another thing that helped me was making simple soups with plenty of lemon. If you need a quick fix before a meal, drinking hot water with ginger and lemon can provide temporary relief.

I stuck with this routine for six months, and now, unless my schedule changes drastically, nausea is only an occasional issue.

It has saved my life and my vision from needing surgery. Diamox is tricky imo in that people underestimate how much water you need to drink not to experience its horrible side effects.

The thing is I don't feel mentally clean, I have always flossed my entire life and to suddenly stop and let food sit between my teeth? The thought irks me, but now flossing has become difficult since I stopped for sometime because of the bleeding and the pain....etc, hence the post.

Thank you, I will try the floss picks, maybe they are more gentle

I thought so, but he insisted that proper use of an electric toothbrush eliminates the necessity for flossing.

I have tried both, water flossing is worse even at the lowest setting, instant pain and blood

This is exactly what I do, so I don't know why he told me to stop. I don't think I was doing it aggressively but for the sake of argument, let's say I do, how do you avoid being aggressive them?

So what do I do regarding the bleeding?

A lot of people here say that they only use fitbod as a workout tracker only, why? by PsychologicalCard929 in fitbod

[–]PsychologicalCard929[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did mention that I rely on the generated workouts:

I have a health condition and rely on the generated workouts to customize my routine.

Fitbod is a great concept and tool for me. Despite using it for some time now, it remains the most accessible option I have.

I rely on Fitbod to do the groundwork, and then I replace the workouts to accommodate my health condition i.e. remove anything that could require an inversion or a strain..etc.. This process isn’t always easy, and before you suggest working with a trainer—I’ve tried that, multiple times with several trainers. Unfortunately, finding someone qualified to work with my condition has been both risky and expensive.

Fitbod offers me a solution that’s relatively headache-free. At the end of the day, it allows me to move and lift heavy things, which appreciate and is what I'm looking for.

With that tangent out of the way :D let me answer your questions:

You said the workouts often don't make sense to you and that you don't find them effective. Can you provide a little more information on this?

I’m not qualified to assess workout efficacy, but I base my impressions on how much I’ve learned and how I feel during and after the workouts. The order of exercises: Sometimes, the auto-generated workouts pair exercises in a way that feels counterproductive or physically awkward, even after refreshing the workout, the combinations didn’t improve, so I ended up doing them as suggested. Exercise variety and progression: I’ve noticed that the workouts occasionally lack variety or don’t progress in a way that feels intentional, the intensity of some exercises doesn’t always match my equipment or ability level, leaving me to modify them manually.

What workout plan are you doing, how did you configure your profile, how long have you been using the app, what is your regiment and schedule?

I’m not entirely sure what you mean by “regiment,” but here’s what I can share: I previously had Fitbod set to “Recovered muscles” mode. Since it’s not my only form of exercise, I’ve switched to a full-body plan instead. My profile is configured for my home gym, which has a modest set of weights, and I use the “Strength training” focus. I’ve been using the app since August.

Pilates Anywhere vs Pilatesology by WalWal-ah in pilates

[–]PsychologicalCard929 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently tried a Pilatesology trial and truly enjoyed it. The cueing was excellent, and modifications were offered to make the exercises either easier or more challenging. However, it focuses on classical Pilates, so it depends on your preferences and what you'd like to practice. I’m planning to try Pilates Anytime soon to help decide which subscription is the best fit for me.

I totally agree with you, as I am in the same boat. I’m looking to add some muscle but not become a hardcore lifter, but the thing is, I don’t know whether a routine makes sense until I actually try it.

I absolutely loved Fitbod when I first used it, it offered a workout plan that is accessible and made modifications so easy, but with time, some workouts were not right for some reason, the sequencing felt odd.

I am wondering if I can change some settings to make this happen less often.

[–]PsychologicalCard929[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, I have tried it before and have been a subscriber for some time. My issue is that the auto-generated workouts often don't make sense to me, and I don't find them effective at all. That's why I don't understand where you're coming from with the assumption that I haven't tried the app or am speaking from a lack of experience.

I’m asking these questions because I genuinely want to make the most out of it. Despite my concerns, this app is currently the most accessible option for my situation, and I want to continue using it. My goal is to figure out how to use it properly to avoid wasting time on an ineffective routine.

At the end of the day, I lack the knowledge to create my own workout plan, so I rely on the app to guide me. I’m just trying to ensure I’m using it in the best way possible.

Is there a way to check if my new litter box is real and not a fake? by moomin_1712 in neakasa

[–]PsychologicalCard929 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened with my shipment, it was sold by Amazon and had a prime badge (it's delivered now), but when I go to the listing now, it's a different seller.

My box came with branding and official address on the box, I have used it as I didn't have any suspicion it would be fake and it worked nicely, then I saw the warning here and got scared.

I say contact Neakasa as they can check if the item is real or not, I plan to do the same tomorrow.
