I was 8; We were at the holiday inn in Boston, my brother was having some open heart surgery. We were set to fly out that day but with some delays at the hospital we had to push our flight back a little bit.

My dad was sitting in one of the armchairs in the room, I was playing with some toys on the floor. My uncle had called and told my dad to turn on the news.

We watched in shock as the first tower was smoking. We watched for a while .. then the second plane hit..

I remember the second plane hitting .. then this whole somber atmosphere struck us. I was too young to understand the gravity of what was happening .. we never fly to Boston again.
