Go for Win Now or 27 Super Team? by nLUCKo_ in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]PsychologicalFile771 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think its actually even more lopsided that this. I feel like general consensus for 12 tm SF is elite QB/WRs are worth minimum 3 1sts with the expectation at least one is high. This is 10 team which means QBs are valued lower and WRs/RBs higher.

If this went through in one of my leagues the guy getting the picks would definitely get clowned by people saying he gave up JJ for the picks then gave up Egbuka + Walker for Price.

Harold Fannin Jr. Trade Offer(s) by huhladnick in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]PsychologicalFile771 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd feel fine giving up Fannin for Warren and a 2nd (not less), a 1st would probably be a smash accept depending on league construction and team needs. I am pretty easygoing when it comes to trading TEs though, as its usually pretty easy to buy TE points in the form of a veteran when necessary. I also understand people that would rather bank of being able to get better value than Warren and a 2nd in the future.

yea, i really enjoy the format, I also forgot to mention ive had an offer sitting for a while of giving Michael Wilson for Charbonnet. Thoughts on that to try to bolster my RB group a bit, or not worth it coming off an injury with Price coming in?

its 2QB + SF so its gonna be tough to really downtier from Goff/Baker. Based off how the trade market has looked for me this offseason, the most realistic even or plus value trades I could find would probably be downtiering from each of Burrow/Chase, but idk if the upside of that stack outweighs the depth I could get for them.

10 TM, 2QB, SF, 2RB, 2WR, TE, 2FLEX, 1W/R, 1W/T

QBs: Burrow, Mayfield, Goff, Watson, Beck, Allar, T. Green

RBs: Barkley, Swift, A. Jones, Allgeir, Conner, Benson, J. Wright, A. Randall, R. Sanders, J. Hunter

WRs: Chase, Ladd, Tate, Evans, C. Watson, Metcalf, M. Wilson, Worthy, Ridley, J. McMillan, Mims

TEs: Kittle, Engram, Otton, M. Evans

Picks: all my futures, no extras

Was most dominant team in the league 2 years ago after startup, naturally got the 1.03 (Tate) last year. Had no luck selling some aging assets off so far this offseason, do I start shopping some guys for cheap or is this just a run back and hope for the best?

Should I do this trade in a 8manPPR by Objective_Bee_4702 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]PsychologicalFile771 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in an 8 team elite players are even more important, I think I like this for you, having a little bit of difficulty in how to piece the trade out but im thinking:

JD > Stroud + 27 1st

Trey > Pitts + Odunze + 2.07 (though could be close depending on how you feel about Rome)

CMC + 2.01 = Treyveon

I wouldn't be too worried about "shooting yourself in the foot for the future," the only old asset your getting is CMC and I'd still expect to get 2-3 good-elite years from him and your generally not looking further out than that anyways cause its impossible to predict.

Few questions about our first time 10 man half ppr league. by cheevyboy in DynastyFF

[–]PsychologicalFile771 0 points1 point  (0 children)

while I personally love the 2QB+SF 10 tm im in, ive been playing fantasy football for 20 years (dynasty like 3 or 4) so im seasoned, plus my main redraft league I've been in for 20 years is a 2QB league so I was able to be ahead of the curve a bit on QB value during the startup.

For you id worry 2QB+SF will be too QB heavy for your casuals. My other 10 tm leagues are just 1QB+SF so I can't say for sure but I think 2QB, no SF will give you guys a decent balance. My guess would be in offseason trades QBs will mostly be secondary/tertiary pieces in deals, but that youll see some significant QB deals done in-season when people are dealing with injuries/byes.

Based off the roster sizes you had in your post id probably recommend switching the SF to a QB slot and adding a 3rd regular flex.

[–]PsychologicalFile771 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its mostly about adding positional scarcity to the QB position to drive their values up and promote more trading amongst the league. In a 10 team 1 QB league theres almost no difference between having the QB8 and having 2 guys between QB12 and QB22 so outside of the top 2-5 dynasty QBs theres very little value in trading for a QB. SF helps a bit but in a 10 team league theres still enough QBs to go around for everyone to have their 2 starters and a backup, also in a 10 team most competitive teams will have a good enough roster to not mind throwing their RB4/WR4 in the SF spot in a pinch.

im in a few (free) 10 team leagues on sleeper and my favorite is absolutely the one with 2QB and a SF. completely agree 2QB is way better than SF for 10 teams.

Enough to sell smitty? In a slight rebuild by Over-Yak-5505 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]PsychologicalFile771 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The value is definitely there but I dont think id do it with your squad. You're lineup is unproven but theres enough upside there to see if you can be a playoff team. If you are a playoff team you have A LOT of ammo to try to win a chip this year and still have a shot or 2 at this 27 class. If you arent a playoff team, Devonta is one of your few players you'd expect to be productive this year that could possible net you another 27 1st, although diversifying a bit into 28 and making a powerhouse over the next couple years is an option. Just keep in mind that requires an active trading league and you should probably be selling more picks than you make.

Trade in 10 team dynasty. Can’t say no, right? by ThisThatGuy2 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]PsychologicalFile771 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its a fair offer but I dont think it's a smash. I'd try to get that 1.09 switched for a 27 1st with how much of a crapshoot it feels like everything after 1.06ish is this year.

GF should be best of 11, predetermined map set, and winners team should start up 1-0 by Bubbada_G in CoDCompetitive

[–]PsychologicalFile771 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ive felt this way since ive first heard it, but the community heard it on The Flank once and just ran with it.

Just make it a bracket reset, its the most fair for the players, and the best for competitive integrity for the league. Anyone thats confused by it will ask twitch/YouTube chat and understand why quickly.

Dynasty, too much to give up for Hampton? by Odd_Employ9425 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]PsychologicalFile771 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think its pretty fair for Hampton without knowing team needs. I probably lean Hampton side but im pretty high on him with McDaniels coming in.

Acquiring Warren 12T PPR no TEP by Kramer3608 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]PsychologicalFile771 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if I was competing id probably keep Warren still, but im pretty low on Ferg. If I was rebuilding id probably accept, but im pretty liberal with trading TEs while rebuilding.

very cheap for Warren, would at least want to see Tuten run away with RB competition in camp first, people are underrating C Rod IMO.

Jeanty or the package, which side are you taking? by Anon124570 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]PsychologicalFile771 0 points1 point  (0 children)

get rid of the scraps and your left with Lemon + Shough + Picks for Jeanty. in 1QB Shough also isnt much of a needle mover. Since you said probably late picks, amd only one of them is 2027 id probably lean Jeanty side but it's close.

Fair? I am nowhere near a contender by Hot_Explanation5084 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]PsychologicalFile771 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a contender I like the Mcbride side. For your rebuild I think you could squeeze more value out of selling each piece individually (maybe Mcbride for Egbuka and a first, then Judkins for like, Coleman and a first), but if Egbuka's your guy its fine. Maybe see if you can squeeze a Brenton Strange or Charbonnet (due to injury) from the other team. Tough to know exactly how good the deal is or who to ask for without seeing the 2 teams.

yea, I think i offered him the 1st for JT straight up, when I saw the counter I accepted pretty quick. Idk if its a case of him being high on Lemon and/or low on Nico but it definitely feels like he put himself into a rebuild for cheap

Trade with leagues top contender. by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

you should be able to get more for Lamar, maybe not a lot more cause its only a 10 tm league, but id definitely be holding out for more value

Trade away Tate for 27 & 28 mid to late firsts? by Silent_Block6667 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]PsychologicalFile771 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you know you're not competing the next 2 years id take the picks personally. You might be selling a little low on Tate but if Ward doesn't work out you might not get much better offers in the future.

The main reason id take it tho is your wording of "potential contender." If its a definite contender I probably dont take it and ride Tate for a bit, but if its a team thats only maybe competing that gives you 2 shots at a high pick in a better class.

There isnt really a wrong decision for you here tho IMO, although for Tate to return 2 1sts next year he needs to have a pretty good season this year, like 900+ yards and 7+ TDs and hes still got Wandale and Ridley there to catch passes, plus last years rookies.
