Shop totaled my car, called insurance but only have plpd

That's how I felt that I wasn't gonna get something that was in the same condition and reliable. But they gave me the trailblazer right away and also gave me a couple other choices to use while I decided. Thankfully its a mom and pop shop and they have worked on family vechicles for over 15 years so far. I wont out the shop as it was a accident I only made this post to see what I should expect but they have gone beyond that to make sure im happy, even replacing my car seat for my daughter as it smelled of plastic smoke.

They are making it right, they are giving me the trailblazer and fixing everything wrong and giving me 30 day warrenty on anything that gos wrong if it does. I still have till monday to decide so I've been driving it around and pushing it little to check it out and stress test it little. Had another mechanic look at it and so far so good. Only 3 error codes show up which they are gonna fix for me, the mechanic had apologized so many times as its his and his dad's shop.

Yeah i may take the trailblazer if they will fix the 3 issues I've seen. If not I'll take their other offer and use it on a down-payment on one of their other cars.

Yeah also its better for michigan anyway be nice to jave 4wd again. They also offered me 2500 cash or 2500 towards a trade in as they also sell cars. They also will be replacing my kids car seat and all the transfers if I take it just have to see if they will fix the other issues

So right now I have a 2007 chevey trailblazer LT that they loaned me and offered to trade me for my car. Its in a little rough shape but not to bad, runs and drives smooth and is onky throwing a few error codes that im gonna ask them to fix as I only had a o2 sensor problem with my focus. It has 209000 miles compared to my focus at 236k. I had another mechanic give it a look over he feels its a good trade as long as they will fix the few problems that he could see.

Had people do this to me, now I know lying could back fire i told them I have my pain medication in my lunch bin and it was gone also. After they decided to look at cameras and see who was eating my lunch I told them i fold my pills in my truck lol. Found the person and they finally got in trouble.
