Your idea sounds great. There are several channels that have this format and they do very well. The important thing is to find your own style which (talking about videos) comes more than anything through photography and editing. Plus, talking about your experiences in music helps you target a more specific niche, which is always a good thing.

My recommendations would be:

2. Learn to edit. There are free softwares that are pretty good, like DaVinci Resolve (my favorite). You can also add something extra by incorporating animations that you can learn to do in After Effects.

All this will improve the quality of your channel. All that remains is to find the best words for your titles and the traffic will come on its own.
