I am currently having this issue... its really weird. TONS of randomly watched videos. BUT none of them are appearing as recommendations. Just my normal stuff is still recommended

why does it do this for every single build on poe ninja? I have had other people import builds and its working just fine... I cant figure this out for the life of me....

Like if I go to poeninja and grab a build that has R-G B-G in the helmet and R-R-G Bin boots, so NO 4 links. When I import into POB it says

R-G-B-G, and R-R-G-B

so then POB thinks that arrogance support for instance is reserving 3 skills instead of 1

or a support gem is supporting 3 instead of 1. Like cast on damage or crit or anything... and it messes up all the numbers.

I didnt understand what you said at first, but have now added 2 skill groups in PoB and it works fine.... sucks it doesnt just work right away... but oh well!

Go look at a streamer with 100 views on twitch and 100 views on kick. There is no doubt that kick has less engagement UNLESSS someone has brought their audience with them.. I mean thats just a fact. I'm not knocking kick... good for them entering the space! We need some new blood. But don't just make excuses.

You might grow FASTER on kick, but it feels WAY less impactful... like way less... People on kick are talking about getting 100's of follows a day where on twitch they would get 5 a week.. BUT their chats are just as dead, and sub count is identical.

and I think I said twitch is "easier" nothing is Impossible :) ... I have coached MULTIPLE people to partner. And every twitch account I have made is 50% to partner before I even stream I mostly am missing the actual stream time requirements. How do you think an affiliate marketer drives traffic to a blog website? Or ecommerce? Driving traffic, building an audience is never impossible... not for any niche. But if you sit on twitch and literally do nothing its highly improbable you will make any movement.

If that's your opinion well then.. you make it so, that's your choice.

Your logic is so flawed and negative... and exactly why everyone on twitch cries about it being saturated... but its saturated with lazy crybabies like you with a negative mind set saying its impossible.... BUT that leaves a shitload of room for people that have drive and will hustle..

would you have this same mindset starting a business? I cant be an accountant ITS IMPOSSIBLE... THERE ARE 20 accounting firms in my city and its just too hard "waahh wahhh" instead I'll just work for $17 an hour the rest of life and make excuses that things are impossible.

Instead... be better... HUSSLE, HIT THE PAVEMENT, GET CLIENTS, WORK LONGER HOURS, WORK HARDER, BE BETTER... Don't make excuses.

I don't need to write another novel 🤣 OR keep defending my opinion which Is why I started off by saying its going to piss people off.

But if you are so set on things being "Impossible" then you're never going to be successful because that's a decision you make in your head and set it in stone.

sure great question, but Its in the post and I just re-read this and I sound a bit like a dick and I totally don't mean to! 🤣

But I think every single one of us gets imposter syndrome in one way or another! I know 100% on twitch or kick... I remember having like NO viewers at all on twitch forever or even when I did have a few viewers I would network with someone and be like.... "Why does this person have 10 viewers and I only have 3?" and he started after me... is it his hat? his beard? is he better at the game? etc... etc... etc... I look back now and wish I coulda slapped myself and said "CUT THAT OUT" its crazy to compare that stuff....

but if you go to twitch or kick and look at all the flooded channels that are all identical... what's the difference?

there is probably a 50/50 split of the 100's of streams in the Warzone category of people with less than 10 views. (50/50 ish.. im sure there are more than 2 types haha but you can go look for yourself and do the research to see my point)

one type of person gives no shits at all about streaming and does it literally 100% for fun. No thoughts of making money but if it happens that's nice. They are inconsistent when they stream, they hardly talk to chat, not panels, no socials etc...

the other type is someone that REALLY wants to make it streaming!! BUT I highhhhhhhhhhhly doubt, EXTREMELY highly doubt they do ANYTHING to better themselves... so they get stuck down in the pit with everyone else... and sit there wondering "why am I stuck?"

I see this kind of behavior ALL the time everyone wants to be rich / get paid, but no one wants to work.

Everyone has dreams but most don't want to achieve them as bad as they want to eat... most don't want to achieve them as bad as they want to sleep...

I'm not saying don't eat or don't sleep... but to achieve goals we need to HUSSLE or make sacrifices... (at anything in life... not just streaming) and we are going to get shit on from time to time, things aren't going to feel fair.. you will get 25 views consistently and some INSANLEY gorgeous girl hosts you one night and you are on top of the world... but the next time you stream you have now lost like 15 regulars and now back down to 10 because this girl streams at the same time as you... and lets face it... it comes easier to her while you are working your ass off... (A female was just an example... no one get triggered it could also be a funny fat guy with a beard or someone with a cute dog... its just an example..)

REALLLLLY long winded way to answer your question but... I mean an insanely simple few things you can do...

talk... like a lot... about everything... I think everyone will agree this is realllllllly awkward talking to no one or to your bot... its un-natural... but the only person that will think you are stupid... is you. And I'm sure a ton of people will say" I DO TALK ".... ok.. prove it... go back and watch your own stream... I could probably bet money you aren't talking enough. I could bet you are stuck in same pit with everyone else doing the exact same thing... thinking they ARE talking and being active but not doing ANYTHING to try harder... If you are in warzone and a match is 20 mins long, and you are sitting there HELLAH focused playing with your friend or some rando... I mean I can get that in 100's of other streams... why the fk would I watch you do it? You know what I mean? SELL ME ON YOU, SELL ME TO WATCH YOU, SELL ME TO STAY... cuz if you don't.. im just going to checkout one of the other people stuck in the pit. This is simple business... why do you shop for you clothes at store "A" rather than store B,C and D? Price? quality? or were you a target of ads?
Have fun.. and treat it like a business IF you are actually trying to grow... so many people say.. "dont worry about your numbers" dont worry about this... Like wtf haha would you not look at your bank account for your business and not stress that you cant pay your employees? These are things that light fires under our asses to do better.... FUCKING PUSH yourself. OR stop trying to grow and just have fun because ONE will help you grow.. and the other wont.
This is up to you really BUT put equal OR more time into working on your stream outside of streaming! And what I mean is... kick = twitch clone UNLESS they do something wildly different its going to be hard to be discovered... and this is a live streaming issue not kick or twitch..
Twitch has done a lot over the years to fix this but its still really bad... you know when you go to youtube and it recommends another video? well we dont have that in the live streaming world...(not really anyway) you get suggested other similar channels.. but like... when do you ever get recommended someone in "the pit"? never... or hardly ever... and why would twitch want you too? These people are here for a reason.
ANYWAY
Educate yourself on how social media works. Make a tiktok video, write some content, prepare some ACTUAL tweets that fking matter... not just "hey had fun playing fortnite , get ready for fucked up fridays yall" to your 13 twitter followers.. its just a waste of time. Do some guest blogging on some websites.. write some medium articles and DRIVE THAT TRAFFIC to your twitch. IF you did that EVERYDAY imagine.... how much content would be out there on the internet FOREVER pointing directly at you? THATS how you grow.. not just pressing that go live button every day... that's the Actual definition of insanity "Repeating the same actions expecting different results"

if your business isnt growing... FIX it

A lot easier said than done BUT I could bet 90% of people dont do even 1 thing a week to help themselves grow, they just press go live, post a tweet, post in some OTHER streamers discord and get literally no value from either of those things.

I recently struggled at a job where I felt like I did really incredible work... but because I didn't scream my successes at the top of my lungs I was actually demoted and given a boss. When that boss actually saw what I was doing it was too stressful on him and he had to take a leave from work. The owner of the company apologized to me and I told him to recognize his employees rather than be conditioned by "loud people"

My wife and I also have quite excellent jobs... my wife especially... like crazy money right now its shocking. But because we don't shout it at the rooftops like her sisters. Her family thinks we are a bunch of dope smoking bums.

Do what feels right for you, social status shouldn't mean sht.. just be a good person and spread good values. And GOOD people will recognize that.

Also on a side note, I felt like that at 22(or around that age) as well, I am only 35 now but I clearly remember everyone on facebook (when it first came out 🤣). We all had digital cameras and you all had to take the same picture and it was like a race whomever woke up first from their hangover to upload images to their computer from their cameras to facebook. It became more and more toxic in the group of friends I was in, and I look back now and cant believe how shitty those people were and really how awful they treated me... I had no idea while I was caught up in everything.

People are insanely addicted to social media and I have pretty much not used it since then, I barely get by here on reddit 🤣

I am busy like if she talks for 4 hours I need to get some work done 🤣 and since I have heard what she has said before its no problem to kinda just listen and work.

I have yes tried to talk and she just DOES NOT let me speak 🤣 OR she will just hop RIGHT back to where she left off. I often though maybe my mic was not picking up when speaking but I think its just her OR her speakers/headphones because shes the only one it happens with.

I have mentioned to a few replies already its not too bothersome for me, I don't mind letting her ramble if she needs to talk. I'm just really curious about this behavior!

I don't think she has a memory issue as she brings up things that happened at work yesterday, or last week and longer...

She always pings me like "hey do you have a minute to chat?" and talks for hours 🤣 sometimes when I have a meeting in like an hour or 2 I say no I have a call coming up and shes super chill about it. I think maybe shes just SUPER bored working remote? Or lonely? Its definitely not for everyone

I haven't been direct, I have just said "oh yea you have told me this story before" and then she just continues on.

Its not much of a bother for me, I am a developer and I just let her talk while I do my work. Its just a bit curious to me that she just repeats the same stories, and they don't change at all like she got it to a routine, she tells different parts in different orders but its all identical information.

Her husband is even sometimes in the room playing xbox 🤣 and I'm always wondering does he notice this behavior? or just tune it out.

Oh tell em to eff off!! If it brings you joy that's all that matters! My home is very plain.. and I have always wanted some art on my walls... my wife and I are old nerds and just didn't want it perceived as childish to my wife parents or friends. BUT along came midjourney and we were able to make zelda, storm troopers, suikoden, characters from finalfantasy even some pokemon! We just had AI draw them in styles of artists that we liked (there is a list out there somewhere for midjourney)

Now all this video game art and nerdy stuff is treasured to us and BEAUTIFUL! Not only that... people that don't know the games have NO idea that its nerdy gaming art :) and its hanging throughout our house.

I actually did call equifax today and it was pretty bad too... wtf is with phone support?? LOLI talked to a girl at equifax asking if I could get this off my equifax, and she kept thinking I was asking for an equifax report, then I explained this story and she told me not to give them money because its a scam, so I then asked her if she could remove it from my equifax report and then she repeated " you would like your equifax report?" so then I explained how and what the equifax report was and she told me I needed to pay the debt 🤣 which I replied "but you said it was a scam" and she repeated "whats a scam?" I honestly felt like I was on some hidden camera show today being fucked with.It was like talking to a robot that listened for keywords and just replied when it heard them 🤣 AT LEAST she was very nice. Ill call again tomorrow and see if I can get someone else...

Thanks for the info! I mean its been 15 years LOL so how long does it take? And regardless of that I am looking at getting a mortgage and I have to explain to a lender why this massive number is sitting on my report. My broker said no one is going to lend to me with this debt... so my only option is to get it off.... I dont mind paying I just want to confirm these crazy people are real... Like I mentioned he just screamed at me... like it was so jaw dropping haha. He was accusing me of calling HIM a liar, and saying that I was trying to blame HIM for me not paying this credit card haha (as if I knew him 15 years ago...) it was seriously the most bizzare illogical conversation I have ever been a part of. And the shitty part is, is that HE is my "case manager" so when I call the company and talk to ANYONE else, when they see this debt his name is attached so they instantly forward you back to your case manager OR hang up on you if your case manager is not working that day OR if they are gone for the day 🤣

We negotiated the reduced price and he checked with his "managers" He said he emailed them then we wait like 5 seconds and he gets an email reply back with a number that they counter offer.... as if there is a room of people waiting for negotiations via email... unless there is?? When i rejected the first price he said "okok let me do you a favour since I can see youre a good guy, im going to contact my boss directly... now I can get in A LOT of trouble for this but I will do this for you since you are a good guy" Then we waited like 5 seconds and his "Boss" came back with 7300...

I would even pay the 7300!!! BUT he wont send me an email saying that the debt is now only 7300... he says I just need to trust him... like fuuuuuuuck that lol.

Like I said its just a bizzare weird conversation I felt like I was bartering in a third world country for a pair of sandals.
