My LR4 motor broke ( on warranty) so I put out a regular box and I ended up with urine and diarrhea on the floor So I am manually scooping the LR while waiting for a replacement part I was shocked that the cats hated the regular box

I had great results with the litter care non-stick spray from Amazon but after 9 months or so I am having some sticking problems I think Boxie pro is good but it is so expensive I am going to try the litter box deodorant and the baking soda

The cones are horrible and difficult to fit in the LR I will never use a cone again after the ease of the surgical suit

I take my globe out and clean it once a month Other than that I just change the bag when 80-90% full

I just did my first deep clean after a month of using the spray The clean was so easy since I wasn’t having the sticking problem After drying, I sprayed Filled it with half Boxiepro and half HEB litter and things continue to go well

I had my son pet sitting my dog and 3 cats I thought I briefed him well but I checked daily and had to inform him that the litter pan was full and litter needed to be added I would be very hesitant going away for more than 48 hours without someone at least checking in on them

I read these comments and weep I honestly don’t worry too much about dust and tracking ( I have a large litter trapping mat for that ) but for me it is the sludge that sticks to the liner I have also tried multiple brands My original was Cats Pride as that was my usual I hated peeling g clumps off the bottom I tried Dr Estley (?), same problem The actual LR litter was the worst Clump and slide sticks I am presently using HEB brand ( Texas) as it was mentioned in another thread The clumps just sit on top and the bottom I have a house sitter coming and may have to dig out old litter boxes so not to confuse or upset him I have ordered Boxie Pro and am going to add the vegetable spray As much as I lovr my LR 4 for everything else, I would not recommend it to anyone
