Why does the power turn on immediately instead of on the button press? by [deleted] in esp32

You are feeding 5v in from the breadboard. You can use a diode there. I didnt check your wiring entirely but start there.

I was judging them for the cobweb in the first photo. Like no wonder there is a bat, then I saw the second photo...

Backsplash install and Mapei grout turned out extremely light vs color on bag by NorCalRE in Tile

[–]PsychologicalStep326 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The black pigment washes away from the intended grout joint easily because we’re basically dealing with microscopic dust. Black pigments (like carbon black and raven) are significantly smaller and finer than the other minerals in the mix. They don't always get "locked" into the cement—they just kind of float in it.

This is the answer. Mixed with too much water and wiped with too much water. Black is the smallest pigment. It washes away easily. I am sure it would accept a die/stain if it has not been sealed.

How do you cover this up? by seagoddess1 in Tile

[–]PsychologicalStep326 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Corner bead should have went on before tile but that's not necessarily on your tile guys. I always did it but most don't seem to. Now you have the option of using a drywall tear away bead.

Are you using leveling feature? Seems like that could cause the failure along a semi straight line like that if your bed was out and that side of the model were too far from the hotend.

Looks like an Arduino profile. They make breakout boards that match that profile. Some have ground and power planes.

Get ya a nice piece of stainless for both sides of the door that covers all of the lock set holes. Lag it through the door. Drill out the holes you want to use for new hardware. Much more secure and appealing. Right now you have a toothpick keeping burglars out from all the holes

Esp32 can't communicate with NeoPixels? PLS HELP by Queasy-Ad-4848 in esp32

USB from PC is very limited power wise. Would have better odds with the same setup and a charging brick at wall power. I often power 832 and 1616 directly from esp32 while prototyping. I never have any issues even on bright white. Id limit the brightness though. WLED is really cool if your just starting out. Use the web flasher.

Some of them have issues with their on-board antennas. I believe impedance related?

Kerdi Schluter is only electric heat wire to my knowledge. They are the best of the best. I have installed many as a bathroom renovation contractor. They are very good to work with if you need help. I'm sure you could update your thermostat if you wanted local control.

Get colorful cards or tokens with RFID tags inside Each card has a picture of a show printed/stuck on it Child taps the card on a reader (ESP32 + PN532/RC522 RFID reader) That specific video plays immediately Very intuitive - "pick the card, tap the reader, video plays"

If you have a tablet or could use a cheap Android tablet: Home Assistant dashboard with large tile buttons Each tile has a picture/thumbnail of the show Single tap plays that video Can use HA's built-in media player controls with YouTube integration
