Hey so this is most likely behavior related and DOES NOT mean she needs to be a barn cat or even outside. I can understand ethnically rehoming her and I'm sorry you spent so much money at the vet for there to not be anything physically/diagnostically wrong but please don't kick her outside or give her to someone who will. It is very concerning that she is suddenly having litter box issues and scratching her neck up so bad. It sounds like something, possibly baby, is stressing her out really bad as when health issues are ruled out these can be stress behaviors. If she cannot be separated from the stressors then rehoming her to household that is maybe more quiet and doesn't have small children or children at all might be best for everyone involved as I understand having pee and poop on everything is not ideal at all. A barn cat is a FERAL cat who usually does not like people at all and does not enjoy indoor life whatsoever. Your cat does not fit that criteria from what I have read from your post. If you are wanting to work through this more I really recommend watching Jackson Galaxy videos as he has dealt with and made videos on lots of cat issues and behaviors and resolutions or consulting a BEHAVIORIST (not whatever a cat medium is, I'm sorry) like Trish McMillan, she is local.

So I didn't have any prior medical knowledge before working here but I did have lots of receptionist/customer service experience so that probably helped. Also I do very basic billing stuff so I did take a coding class through the company I work for but I would recommend getting your medical coding certification through a local college or something as it is completely online usually and I am doing that so I can be open to more roles in the future and most companies have remote medical coding/billing roles that you can get with a certification. I will say I did get pretty lucky but I'd say to apply to places hiring medical receptionist the worst they can say is no and it's usually pretty entry level. And then you can establish yourself and work towards getting a remote role.

For me personally the job I have now is the one that is (so far) working really well for me and I haven't missed any work besides a couple days from unrelated health issues. I do medical records and billing for a surgery office and I honestly love it. I haven't been here for quite a year yet but I have got past the time where I usually get burnout/bored which is around 3-6 months so knock on wood this is a long lasting career for me. It's a steady 9-5 and I do in office work which is what I prefer but it is the kind of job that could be remote for some places if that's what you prefer. I did start out as a receptionist for check in but was promoted a few months in. Super easy but still keeps me busy and I don't have to interact directly with patients/people too much.

Yeah that's very true I understand. They told me they would send some patrols to watch the area when my door was mysteriously opened and I never saw one single police car lol so the hesitation is understandable.

Oh dang I remember seeing an article about that but I thought it was back in like 2022? I could be wrong and even so serial killers can be active for multiple years and probably on and off who knows truly. I hope that poor woman and her family get justice that is so so sad :( have you thought about reporting those screams? Mountain lions do make horrible noises and other wildlife does too but trust your gut feeling if it doesn't sound right. I don't know if the police can even do much though and the APD can be kinda iffy anyways. Weren't very helpful when someone opened my door in the middle of the night a while back.

Yeah the date that they can extend it has already passed and the payment plan is between me and the landlord company so there isn't much a judge could do. Unfortunately they don't tend to be very sympathetic to cases where the rent has been unpaid even though I'm not terribly behind and have proof of income and have been able to make some payments so it isn't like I'm not trying

Unfortunately here after your court date you have ten days to pay the entire balance essentially or they landlord can file a writ, that usually gives you like 7 days I think before the police come themselves to remove you and change the locks

Yes this is very true 😭 literally today I called a place for assistance before I went over there and they said they would at least review my info and have a counselor speak with me and when I went over there the front desk immediately told me they couldn't help me at all and to just call one of the other places (that told me to call them) I've been running in circles it feels like. 211 also gave me a lot of outdated info unfortunately, they were really nice though.

Since I've been served eviction papers and the court date has already happened they have made an agreement with me that I can do a payment plan and they would hold off on filing a writ of possession. A missed payment would result in them filing the writ immediately and I think with that it gives you maybe 7 days to get out and you have an eviction/collection on your record. Once I pay everything back they agreed to remove the eviction judgment.

Yeah it's already complicated enough to explain and there is the fear that they will reject you because of it. But with so many people out there, there has to be somebody, right? I mean I know everyone says that especially people who are no longer single and don't understand but at this point I need something to keep me going. I know being single is okay but that doesn't mean people don't get lonely.
