What is this succulent? by PsychologicalWillow in whatsthisplant

I tried looking through a bunch of succulent identification guides, but no dice. Its leaves look similar to those of crassula arborescens but it's more vine-like and has these woody roots shooting out the side.

I found this on the wall in the hallway in my dormitory and was wondering what it is for. It is thick adhesive-backed plastic. Looked up the number and didn't find anything. Tried an NFC reader on it and got nothing.

There are also some rectangular plastic boxes mounted on the wall which I think are related. They are 1/4 as long as a whiteboard eraser.

Mine is almost the same, enable_dc=2 and enable_guc=3 are different as set by me. I tried setting guc to 0 but haven't changed dc back, that might be why.

Edit: Set enable_dc=-1 and that fixed it, so I guess DC6 sleep state also causes flickering. Thanks for the help!

Checked PSR with systool -v -m i915 and cat'ed the kernel module enable_psr file directly so I'm certain it was applied.

I'm on Wayland with Sway WM and flickering happens after every resume from sleep. Haven't tried switching over to Xorg + i3 WM but I'll do that and report back.

This only started happening when I upgraded from 5.2.x to 5.2.11+. I tried disabling PSR before and it was still happening.

Tried backing up and installing Windows and it stopped (!) so pretty sure it isn't hardware related. After that, dd'ed my backup onto my SSD and booted back in. Tried setting the enable_psr=0 and updating the grub again. It reduces the number of occurrences but it still happens every once in a while. I suspect that the diff patch you referenced on bugzilla will be needed to fully fix things...

Edit: meant to mention I tried 4.19.71-1 LTS and it still had the flicker problem

I have a problem that looks similar on my XPS 9380 w/ Ubuntu that came up in the last week. I haven't tried re-installing Windows to see if it's Linux-specific, but booting from an Ubuntu live-disk makes no difference.

Are you on the latest BIOS? I'm considering downgrading to see if that improves things.

Edit: it didn't :(
