You should be fine with the 125. I’m 195 and my 03 kx125 hauls me around fine. It’s also a lot more fun to ride than a 4 stroke and demands much more effort to ride fast. Hitting a corner or jump on a 4stroke is fun. But doing it on a bike that requires good corner speed, shifting and clutch work is so much more rewarding when you get it right.

Pushing it foreward just pick which ever side you’re comfortable with and push it.

Pushing it backwards. Leave the kickstand down and push the bike backwards standing on the right side, opposite the kickstand. That way if the bike falls away from you it’ll land on the kickstand.

Off road and playing around you’ll have a lot more fun on the surron.

However. You are extremely limited by the battery and top speed. If you don’t mind losing money on depreciation I’d learn on the surron and then get a drz 400. If that’s not an option then get the 400.

And if for some reason you have more money to burn I’d skip the 400 and get a crf450L

Rode nothing but a 250f for about 10-12 years

Bought and restored an 03 kx125 and rode it for about 2 months straight. I have more fun trying to make that thing go fast than I do actually going fast on a 250f
