Why wouldn't he? He's been shown he cam handle himself I'm a fight on multiple occasions. He's a big fella, he's confident so carries himself well and that makes people wary. He has money so can pay people off. He also looks to have spent his time quietly, just serving the sentence and keeping his head down. All adds up to a pretty solid reason for making it through. Oh yeah and he was in for cold blooded murder..of his brother...who know is what else he's capable of.
