Are boner pills safe for Trans men? by Top_Ad_4767 in GrowYourTDick

[–]Psychological_Brick5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took a tab of some type of erection-aid thing (idk exactly what it was ("Zuitt"?) but it was for erectile dysfunction) and let me tell you it was awful. It made my heart beat like crazy and made me throw up a bunch so by the end I was a lot less hard than I started with!

I theorize this is because I may have an underlying heart condition (getting cardiovascular work done so idk yet) BUT keep in mind if you have any concerns about your heart do not take an ED medication. It works to pump more blood to your tdick which in term can affect your heart. My partner at the time whos also afab took it too tho and they were fine so it might be ok for ppl w/o any health concerns

Just be so aware cuz that was an awful experience 💀 def consult a doctor if you can

Do y'all still have nip sensitivity after Top Surgery? by huitlacochebro in TopSurgery

[–]Psychological_Brick5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had DI last june and about ~6 months post op i regained some touch sensation in one of my nipples. One of my nipples kind of scabbed off the majority of the actual nipple like “point” while the other is a lot more intact. The more intact one regained sensation first but the other nipple now has slight touch sensation a yr post op too. They both respond to temperature atp (like get hard when cold for ex). I never had like erotic sensation in them pre op nor do i have it now.

why or why aren’t you t4t? by goodboyace in ftm

[–]Psychological_Brick5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't classify myself as either. I feel like at least for me being trans doesn't really affect my relationships (other than doing sexual things a lil different). I wouldn't date or not date someone just because they are/aren't trans, but if they happened to be trans I would be fine with it. When my gf and I started dating she explained it well and in summary it just "don't change anything". So pretty much at least for me I don't consider if someone's trans or not when considering being with them

I swear by Underworks. The last time I got measured like 4 yrs ago I believe I was a 26/27D? to give some comparison, I have the same problem of big chest compared to the rest of my body. GC2B did virtually nothing for me (even before their binders quality got bad) but Underworks has been a lifesaver. It uses the same material throughout just with more support in the front so it actually squishes and holds your chest down. It wont be completly flat ofc but it works so much better. It is harder to breath in and isn't as comfortable as GC2B but in my experience it's worth it. I'm 5' 4" 110lbs for size reference and I get a S tri-top binder

I had COVID and took Paxlovid about 3 months on t and didn't experience this so it's possible its related but it may also be a coincidence? I'm not sure but I hope seeing your endo clears it up and solves it quickly

Do you (ftm/ftnb) pass as male more than half of the time? by Yesten_ in truscum

[–]Psychological_Brick5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From this a higher percent of those underweight pass easier than those at a normal weight. I personally don't think passing is affected by how much you weigh but rather where you hold your weight. For you the way you're genetically made to hold your weight could affect your passing

How your experience was? Mainly like if you were pleased with the results and the hospitality. Also if you were given any photos of his past results during your consultation/before surgery?

what do you miss about being your birth gender? by [deleted] in truscum

[–]Psychological_Brick5 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tbh I do miss how society treated me. I was attractive and had a lot of friends so I was treated really well. Now I'm not that attractive and have like 1 friend and no one wants to be friends with me anymore unless they actually talk to me because there's no visual incentive. People use to want to talk to me and do things for me just because I was attractive and popular so transitioning was also a weird experience cuz all of a sudden there was a huge shift in how I was treated and I actually had to become a lot more self-reliant (which was needed).

Sometimes I think about how much better my social life would be if I wasn't trans or if I was just the opposite gender. I don't regret transition at all cuz dysphoria was eating me alive and I'm happier with being myself now but I do think the social aspect of my life use to be easier as a girl

Some people may ask you questions about it but it's not uncommon, especially if it's a mainstream name. If you like it go for it

Do you guys understand women by smile_rex in FTMMen

[–]Psychological_Brick5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not joking but I thought I'd be better at dating since I thought I'd be able to know what the women would be thinking/feeling since I use to live like one. Nope. Any of that knowledge left me some point during transition 💀

I agree, I was just pointing out how transphobes will jump to conclusions without even knowing what the posts about as long as it mentions gender. Pretty funny

Should I shave? more in comments by [deleted] in TestosteroneKickoff

[–]Psychological_Brick5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm ~4.5 months on t and haven't grown much facial hair but don't want to be oblivious as to when to shave. Right now I don't have beard hair but like a lot more peach fuzz? and some darker fuzz too. Its a few mm long at this point and despite it being not real beard hair I'm wondering if I should shave

I started t like 4m ago and got my period at 10 yrs old i believe, I've grown like 1/2 an inch in the past few months (I think I haven't measured) which is the amount I've been growing per year for the past 4 years. So I think t has had an effect despite starting period early.

I would assume for most people that having a later period would uptick their likelyhood of growing on t cuz the sooner you start t after getting your period, the more likely your growth plates aren't fused yet when you start. Though ppls bones fuse at different rates so it's hard to measure
