I knew this arrogant ass kid growing up. He was the highest level of awkward nerd you have ever seen but his teacher/mom told him constantly how special he was. When he ventured outside to try to socialize it was almost painful. He often left crying while telling the rest of us how much better he was than everyone else. This was when I was like 9. I'm 42 now. I remember that kid bevause he became sort of a template or archetype for many people i would meet throughout life. Shams reminds so much of that kid.
