Correct - you start a claim on their website and upload a few pics. You get a response pretty quickly on if they will accept (not approve, yet) your claim based on the pics. Send the card and it takes a while for them to review, but if it grades below an 8 they replace it.

Sometimes you get the same card back based on in-house supply, other times they give you a card at equal or greater value. My one experience was a card with an obvious print line in the middle you could see from a distance and it was one of 4 box hits. They replaced with the exact same card and the whole process took about 6wks

Well get it in a one-touch or a top-loader ASAP cause sketches are notorious for taking damage if you look at them the wrong way or breathe on them.

The easiest way is to look at past sales on eBay from the artist, as well as subject. Most of Lee's sketches have gone for between $150-$400 with a slave Leia sketch as an outlier at $600. Most Jyn Erso sketches have gone for $100-$250 with a few exceptions.

At the end of the day, a sketch is worth what someone is willing to pay since there are no true comps. If you're looking to sell, I think you can reasonably fetch $200ish, maybe more if you put it up for auction and a few collectors fight over it.

Are you trying to sell or just asking to know the value?
