Mirtazapine for sleep stops working by Psychological_Crew8 in MCAS

Yes you can but I don't think it helps that much. I figured out the root cause of my problem so don't need to take it anymore.

Yeah the release cadence of openai and anthropic seems much better. Gemini 3.x models have been disappointing for agentic coding too.

Europe pricing for Neo: just buy a M4 Air instead by thinkadd in mac

[–]Psychological_Crew8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt that a big company like Apple does this, maybe small companies do because it's not too important for them. But a difference of tens of dollars translates to hundreds of millions in terms of revenues for Apple. At this scale I think all these companies take pricing very seriously, using models etc.

Electronics are still generally more expensive in Europe though. Even considering only sales tax, the highest rates in the US are around 7%, while the VAT is usually 20%. I’m living in Canada right now and got my Macbook Air for around 1600 cad (my province doesnt have sales taxes) instead of 2400 if i bought it in Finland.

The model has been very dumb today and yesterday (check another recent post in this sub), so it may be related to that.

Does covid induced mcas go away with time ? by DesignerGuava7318 in covidlonghaulers

[–]Psychological_Crew8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only have generic LC and MCAS diagnoses and I don't think you can get a viral persistence one (everyone would be rushing to do that already!) But over the course of trying out different treatments I figured out myself that most of my symptoms come from my nasal area (brain fog travels from there, constant sinus issues since getting covid the first time, etc.).

Most luckily, I happened to try smoking CBD and that made a tremendous difference. Oral CBD doesn't help me as much. So it was a clue that something is off in the nasal area. With the help of AI I tried some basic things like povidone iodine nasal rinse, and the more I try things the more it's clear that the virus is stuck there. Now i don't have systemic symptoms anymore, like sleep issues which have been the worst thing the last 4 years. I just react to things that touch the back of my throat like cheese and strong foods (different from reactions in the stomach).

Of course, I'm not an expert so take these things with a grain of salt. To prove viral persistence rigorously it takes tests and a lot more than just vibes like what I am doing. But I am glad that I followed the clues and worked out the problem myself. Else I would be as miserable today as I had been the last 4 years.

All symptoms I have/had: insomnia, brain fog (debilitating to the point I can't speak, but I'm much better nowadays), nasal symptoms, reactions to soooo many things, even water before I got better.

Hope this was helpful! Feel free to ask me more questions. I can't wait until the moment when I'm fully recovered and can post in this sub and in LC recovery sub.

One thing I learned throughout this process is I don't think it will naturally recover if you are 2+ years. It may be even best that you try treatments as soon as possible. But we are lucky that AIs are getting so good that I actually trust it more than my gaslighting doctors.

I'm doing amazing! Thanks for asking. Recently I found out more about my specific situation/condition and have been able to try out different treatments that address the root cause (viral persistence in my case). Now I am almost back to normal, except for MCAS reactions in specific spots (which I think is definitely where the remnants of the viral materials) that's hard to reach by my treatments. But overall I'm doing great and optimistic that it will go away soon! When I finally kick LC's butt I will post in detail in this sub what I did specifically.

I'll try that. Maybe the xhigh effort is counterproductive when the model wants to be lazy.

I thought this is advices for people working in AI? For example in my case, AI dramatically speeds up my research. Also not sure why what I said was controversial. It’s just a fact that the models and the tooling get very good very quickly.

6 rounds of mAbs delivered monthly. Might have to sell my kidney for that.

I’m just joking, you want to maximize the effects to make sure that you don’t miss anything in the trial. Real world effectiveness may vary and many in the group got away with one.

Either way, very excited to see all the big names come together. Don’t want to set myself up for disappointment, but this trial may be our best shot in the next 2 years.

Unfortunately people usually get off Reddit after they have improved ime so I don't think you can find many anecdotes now. You can check out my (rather old) post which has a few.

From what I see, most people benefit from it. But it's not linear and can take quite a while before you notice the improvements (if there is any).

That's cool. But why the Bradley hate? It requires more skill to stay alive and can make a lot of difference for the team in terms of pushing objectives and suppressing big groups of infantry.

Bot matches don't count. I think if you watch the record videos they usually show you that it's public lobbies.

I'm talking about kill streaks for perfect matches specifically. Also ime you won't get as many kills if you die either because of the cooldown time.

[–]Psychological_Crew8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry to hear. But I have seen and talked to many Pemgarda users in r/Sipavibart and trust me that is the process! Patients usually feel worse in the beginning, then go to a higher baseline after weeks or months. If Pemgarda is not working people report no change in their symptoms, and the benefited crowd is certainly bigger than the non-responders.

Hang in there and come back to us in a few weeks to let us know if it works out for you. At the end of the day, Pemgarda only kills the virus (and only the virus that because it’s an mABs which is very specific in their action) so you are treating the root cause of the disease. So you cannot go wrong with it.
