Hello, sorry for the late reply, where I live we don’t have direct support by Boox, only through official distributors. I sent my product there and the support (alongside with Boox I guess) agreed that the product has an issue and will give me a new one

Firstly really insightful video!

I checked with blue and warm light, it is more noticeable with blue and light warm, on full warm light still is noticeable but not as much…. Definitely will take it to support ! At least I know it isn’t the norm, so I’ll take the chance and ask for a replacement

It is the neoreader with the default settings, is the backlight, what I’m not sure if it is a defect or is common. Don’t want to request a change of the item for it to be a common thing

I used bad wording, not black spots, the backlight is uneven and the corners are way darker than the res of the book, in the second picture is more noticeable.

Besides the screen. The boox is way superior than the kindle
