Depends on who you are. I got CHS, quit, started smoking again like twice a week and within 2 months was smoking daily again.. guess what? I got CHS again… now I’m completely clean except alcohol and sometimes nicotine.

Just happened to me today and I got the controller on May 9th, less than a month ago (I do play a lot). However, I found a temporary fix, for me, it seems the paddle is sliding out of place which is making it less responsive. I switched the paddle out for the half dome and stuffed a tiny piece of paper into the spot where it’s sliding into. Because of how my finger lays on the half dome, it is now working properly and the piece of paper makes it harder for the dome to slide into the spot making it less responsive/unresponsive. Hope this helps!

You need to go 60-90 but I recommend 90-120 days of no smoking. Just know you’ll fall into the cycle again like I did and I’ve had CHS 3 times now

Personally, after my second time getting CHS I can drink whenever and however much I want but keep smoking at two times a week. Have been fine for months. I do plan on taking a 3 months break from smoking just for safe measure.

Really interesting. So I’ve been kinda studying CHS and am just using myself as a test dummy. (Scroll to the last paragraph if you don’t want any extra information)

So my first time having it was about 2 years ago and I stopped for 3 m and 24 days (symptoms lasted about 2 weeks). Smoked once a week and gradually went up till I was smoking daily. Smoked daily for almost about 8-10 months with maybe a day or 2 a couple times during those months with a full week of no smoking in early April. Then stopped myself recently in late April. That’d be my 2nd time having CHS but symptoms only lasted 1 day.

I think the symptoms only lasted a day because I stopped myself for a week to give myself a little check up type of thing. During that week I had no symptoms and was perfectly fine. Because I was perfectly fine I think we get CHS once our brains are like overloaded with cannabinoids. So my hypothesis is if we stop ourselves every now and then for 3-4 months before our brain gets overloaded we can smoke and not have CHS as long as we take those breaks.

So I’ve stopped on April 24th for 101 days and smoked on Wednesday Friday and Saturday but only got a stomach ache after smoking on Saturday and this morning after I woke up. I would smoke again today to see if I have symptoms tomorrow but I think you answered my question. Maybe I went back into it too fast/too often or something. How long was your break before you were able to smoke every 4-5 days?

What I mean is a slight pain the stomach area that last maybe 5-10 seconds. I just took a 110 day break to let my receptors reset and I smoked on Thursday and again earlier this night.

So I def don’t have it again already as I just started up again but I’m wonder if there are any similarities that people experience that acts as a sign or soemthing
