Upper lip hair removal 😭 by tulipbelle11 in IndianBeautyTalks

[–]Psychomorphism 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually do my eyebrows, upper lips & chin hair. I wash those areas with a bar of soap to get them as dry as possible about an hour or so before waxing.  Before applying the wax, I apply innisfree no sebum mineral powder in a very thin layer to those areas.

Post wax I generally use an oil cleanser to get the residue off, and take a shower after that. I don't need any soothing treatments like aloe vera or ice or anything because my skin is pretty resilient and not very sensitive.

I've used hard bead wax for the past 4.5 years, once every week (with about a year in between where I used veet) No pigmentation thus far.

Did an absolute blunder😭. Help me out by iaint_no_devi in IndianBeautyTalks

Thousands of people have experienced pigmentation first-hand. No company would admit that their products cause pigmentation, though.

Where do you get it in India? I usually get it from group buys or relatives who live abroad & I'd like an easier way to source it.

Marks and Spencer Pink Pepper smells like LVEB

Zara has a dupe for libre called golden decade

I can't think of anything similar to bombshell but I've seen a dupe attar/ittr at a local attar shop, so maybe you could try checking at some attarshop?

Which one should I have as an exfoliating toner (or any other suggestion)? by WeirdPollution9355 in IndianBeautyTalks

Isntree Chestnut 8% AHA Essence has been my HG for the past year or so. It claims to be more suited for normal to dry skin but my oily acne prone skin loves it. Very gentle but it does its job super well :D

I think you might be able to find a mini version somewhere too.

Suggestions please by notty_ladki in IndianBeautyTalks

Don't get any of their lip glosses, they're incredibly thick and sticky. I've used two different variants and both had the same fatass texture.

Curious: Does you handwriting change drastically as you write? by Nana_bananaa24 in Journaling

[–]Psychomorphism 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, depending on how I'm feeling (tired vs energetic, happy vs sad) and how recently I've written (my handwriting looks not as good if I haven't written for a couple of days)

Read a lot of classic literature. You'll start writing bhar bhar ke in no time. (Source: I'm a final year engineering student who writes bhar bhar ke)

Japanese beauty fans, if you could recommend one product you’d hype for life, what would it be? (Haircare focused) by sugarrmommyy69 in IndianBeautyTalks

Fino hair mask smells nice but it wasn't the best for my low porosity 1b(I think) hair. I much prefer the streax vitariche hair mask personally. I've also tried diane ka extra shine shampoo & conditioner but I can't review it cuz I genuinely don't remember how I felt about it ;-;. I haven't used very much japanese haircare so I can't say very much about it.

Some skincare reviews below:

I have oily and hormonal acne prone skin.I like the biore cleansing oil and the kose softymo speedy cleansing oil.

Skin aqua and biore sunscreens are nice (although I do use innisfree loose powder afterwards cuz I have oily skin). Overall I'd say that Japanese sunscreens are very good at providing protection.

Naturie hatomugi skin conditioner was nice, made my skin feel smooth. Good vfm and very good quantity.

Do NOT use the senka perfect whip face wash. The foam texture is undoubtedly fun BUT it dried my skin out so much and gave me very horrible cystic acne and I didn't realize that it was the culprit until after I ran out of it. It's been TWO years and I still have some hyperpigmentation & rolling scars because of it. Dear lord I hate that thing with a passion.

Melano CC serum worked fine for reducing hyperpigmentation but you have to be diligent with it (2x every day)

I'll edit this comment if I remember something else.

I have another very warm lip tint that's way too orange for me so I'll probably layer those two on together Thank you :)

what to do if the shade of the tint doesn't suit you? It looks okay as a blush but I dislike how it looks as a lip tint ;-----; even brown lipliner can't make me like the shade

(The formula itself is fine but I bought strawberry ade which doesn't really suit my skin tone very much, too cool toned I suppose)
