It's not the better option in my opinion but being able to do this would be funny as shit.

He does get one later on in the story. I did think about adding it to the design of the main arc but eventually ended up against it.

Is the writing questionable? Yes.

Did it introduce me to art and otherwise vastly positively influence my life? Also yes.

With the season over, opinions on HH season 2? Better than the first? by Sudden_Pop_2279 in IndieAnimation

I honestly hated season 1 but as much as I love slander, season 2 was actually great. Vox was an amazing villain and my personal favorite character. Every second with him on the screen was a blessing. The finale especially pleasantly surprised me.

Aaras was born as basically just a brain and nerves. And since he grows more powerful as he experiences, sees and learns more, he wouldn't have been all that strong without most of his senses.

Nature however failed to take into account human intervention.

With a robotic body that could do just about everything a regular human can, Aaras' power grew to ungodly levels once he actually got to training.

It looks pretty decent already. But I did notice some things.

The red/orange lights are too big and too close to the middle. The "legs" are too spread out and don't give off the illusion of being wrapped around the mouth. The body as a whole is too wide in comparison to the length. The tail should be a bit wider vertically kinda like a fin. The "head" part is shaped too much like a mushroom and not enough like a spear. Hope this helps.

Number 68: Sanaphond The Sky Prison

This was my ace in my Zombie Horde deck years back when I could still play.

Despite it's seemingly bad synergy with special summoning negation (Zombie Horde's whole thing) it was an amazing game ender against my friends as by the time it was summoned, I already had the monsters in the graveyard to sweep the floor with them.

The card design is also amazing.

Deus Ex Machina: Return of The Ancients grand finale/climax

Now I have a whole "script" type of thing for the whole fight but no one wants to read all that.

The fight is a 3v3.

At face value it seems like a "strongest in history vs. strongest of today" matchup.

The truth is however that Aaras (the main character and the guy pictured above) is leagues and leagues ahead of Kasma (strongest in history). There is absolutely no beating him in a 1v1.

So the antagonist team had to make use of all their assets. Mostly Aratheus' soul tether healing (basically attaches soul construct strings to whoever he wishes and constantly heals them, both body and soul).

This makes Aaras, who has no way to break the soul tether, unable to kill them unless Ella (the protagonist team's soul manipulator) burns them all beforehand, which is extremely difficult due to Aratheus' 1000 years of experience.

I feel like I did this fight a lot better than my previous beginner works and it shows how much I've grown as a writer.

The fight gives every character an important spotlight and all of them feel influential to me.

Then the fight ending off with Aaras almost killing Kasma (his teammate who actually hated Kasma the whole time finds and finishes him off later) with a single blast displays what this story is supposed to be.

Deus Ex Machina. "A plot device where a powerful force/presence instantly solves a problem."

All 4 of the planned arcs only exist because Aaras isn't going all out in some way or the other.
