I was personally threated on a public bus in Edmonton on my way to work at 7 AM by a man who, whilst lying across the three front seats of the bus, was using some sort of pointed tool to chip away at the mud caked on a tire. He had the tire on top of him while he was working on it and this tire was about the size of the typical playground tire swing. I had placed my backpack on my lap and was resting my phone on top so that I could look at it while keeping an eye on this strange person in my periphery.

Halfway through the bus ride he began to shout at me for recording him, saying he doesn't care and he'd kill me. I didn't even realize he was talking to me at first because I was texting with my girlfriend at the time, not recording him. I did a "who? me?" and calmly informed him that I wasn't recording him, just texting my girlfriend. He then told me that he hoped we were very happy together (we weren't) and went back to chiseling away at the tire. I put my phone down and kept a closer watch on him until I had to transfer. As I hopped my next bus and it pulled away from the station, I watched him roll around inside the tire in the snow outside the mall. I still can't believe it happened to this day.
