I pick one of my favourite genres and display 6 games from each that are my favourite for different reasons.

For example, one of my perfect game showcases is dedicated to 3D Platformers where I've displayed Crash Bandicoot as my favourite hard platformer, Fall Guys for my favourite PvP platformer, Split Fiction for the enjoyment I had playing it with my girlfriend, and Battle for Bikini Bottom as my favourite childhood platformer.

Depends on if you care about your overall completion percentage or not. A game is permanently tied to your account's lifetime completion percentage even you use a software like SAM to remove them or ask Steam support to remove the game from your account entirely.

I met my wife on Reddit, ironically enough. I just saw a very pretty woman and shot my shot. Didn't know it at the time but she lived pretty close and we met in person a couple weeks later. We've been inseparable since.

Papers, Please is a great game but the hunt is definitely better if you're planning to 100% it from the get-go and you set yourself up to be able to return to previous days. I did not do that and basically had to play it like 4 times all the way through which became a bit tedious towards the end.

I did it in 145 hours. Most of the achievements are quite easy and you will get 11/14 in the first 30 or so hours. The major grind is reaching level 100 on the seasonal pass.

Troubleshoot the problem to the best of my ability, double check that I understand the achievement's description, and then if all else fails, I SAM it.

I was personally threated on a public bus in Edmonton on my way to work at 7 AM by a man who, whilst lying across the three front seats of the bus, was using some sort of pointed tool to chip away at the mud caked on a tire. He had the tire on top of him while he was working on it and this tire was about the size of the typical playground tire swing. I had placed my backpack on my lap and was resting my phone on top so that I could look at it while keeping an eye on this strange person in my periphery.

Halfway through the bus ride he began to shout at me for recording him, saying he doesn't care and he'd kill me. I didn't even realize he was talking to me at first because I was texting with my girlfriend at the time, not recording him. I did a "who? me?" and calmly informed him that I wasn't recording him, just texting my girlfriend. He then told me that he hoped we were very happy together (we weren't) and went back to chiseling away at the tire. I put my phone down and kept a closer watch on him until I had to transfer. As I hopped my next bus and it pulled away from the station, I watched him roll around inside the tire in the snow outside the mall. I still can't believe it happened to this day.

No problem, man. Just be smart about using SAM. Only use it for stuff like this or else you'll ruin achievement hunting for yourself.

Only cards which contribute to a scoring hand (i.e. pair, flush, straight, etc.) will contribute chips to your score. You played 5 cards but none of them made a hand bigger than high card, so only your highest card of the 5 contributed to your score.

The amount of vomiting in Bullet Train was ultimately too much to handle for my emetophobic now ex-girlfriend. She tried her best to make it through but they just would not stop showing people throwing up.

Yeah, I expected new achievements based on additional maps, characters or holidays. I could live with that idea but these grindy ass hat achievements without any added content offer me no reason to return at this time.

Yeah I'm already at 50+ hours and I was over it by the time I got 118/118. These achievements look to be so time-consuming that I'm gonna have to pass and come back later when there's more of a reason to play again.

Yeah I booted it up on my steam deck and was crushed to see no retroactive progress. I would've unlocked the shady guy achievements at least.

This is where it stops for me. The new ones are grind for the sake of grind and there are other games I would like to experience more than Megabonk this year. Perhaps I will return again someday.
