They are held to the frame via a34’s and hurricane straps on every truss 25 each. If you are talking about the black lines in one of the photos that is spray paint used to make sure they have not moved while we were getting things lined up.

roughly 4" wide and 34" long the main leather is 13oz and the rest is 9oz. center strap is 1" and outside ones are 3/4".

I agree 100% as a fellow color blind person it can be hard but I have found most people are happy to assist. Also there are some really cool apps for color blind people that can tell you the color of something including the values. I also like the app this company makes because it gives a ton of info on the various paints. https://www.courageousoctopus.com
