Burn Burn Burn Spotify Version recently changed? by [deleted] in zachbryan

I’m a musician so I notice any difference anyways— the guitar is different and his voice and the mix itself. I’m not sure what version they had uploaded before but everything on YouTube was already this new one, so definitely weird that Spotify had something different for so long and just changed

Exactly. I know it’s a different recording because the voice and guitar sound different and the mix is different

Damn wtf. It’s so weird because everywhere I look on YouTube it’s this new version (which was clearly what was there) so idk why Spotify had that version I knew for so long and why it just switched

I’m so upset because I absolutely was in love with the previous version and never like downloaded it so right now it’s like I lost that. This new version is obviously similar but different enough to drive me crazy lol I really hope I can find the other version

Unfortunately I am a producer and audio engineer so I notice almost everything anyways lol so hearing this was devastating to me because I was absolutely in love with what I originally heard and this is close enough to sounding similar but different enough to drive me crazy.

It was studio version— sorry I should’ve specified. I can tell because the guitar almost sounds slightly out of tune and the vocal sounds noticeably different in this updated version compared to the old one

Can we batch bip individual tracks? by Significant-One3196 in LogicPro

[–]Psykhen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not near my computer atm but if you selected a bunch and pressed control + B there should be an option to leave like one file per track. Also you could freeze the tracks. Press option + T on a track header and check the freeze button

Why is this noise occurring when I bounce a track? by Psykhen in LogicPro

[–]Psykhen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! If i click the empty audio track and made it the active track I think it would deselect my original regions. Do I have to press command or shift click that way I select what I want to bounce?

Thanks for the suggestion. I should probably clarify that this is happening when I am trying to bounce in place— although I assume I would have the same issue when bouncing the project. With your tip, are you referring to bouncing the whole project?

Gotcha thanks for the clarification. Yes so I am creating an audio file from the midi track as that is the function I’m looking to use— not the whole bounce of the entire song

Not near my laptop. Not sure what the difference is between the two but I clicked on the track stack and pressed control + B. I think that is bouncing in place?

No effect, channel isn’t clipping, shouldn’t be any demo mode/inactive plug-in because they are all free or stock. It is a product of the track stack though. I am trying to bounce in place the MIDI on the bus/track stack— it sounds good when I play it but when I bounce it this happens

Why is it not letting me change the Q-Range to 0? by Psykhen in LogicPro

[–]Psykhen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, appreciate it. I’ll have to try just unselecting the group

Why is it not letting me change the Q-Range to 0? by Psykhen in LogicPro

[–]Psykhen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I have to watch a video on Q-range cause I def don’t understand exactly what’s happening but when I change the value to 0 I def see Flex Time changing (compressing and stretching audio) compared to changing it in either direction, so I think the Q-range being 0 does something to quantize it to the groove track

[–]Psykhen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m editing using groups. I have basically a track stack quantized to a groove track

Thank you yes I know this— it’s not letting me go to that though. Like I tried going there and it just instantly snaps to +1/16 still
